Starter Home Has Turned Into a Money Pit

Nyahsa and Hezekiyah bought their current home at a great low price intending to spend their savings on updates and repairs. But shoddy workmanship and half-completed repairs have turned their dream home into a reno nightmare. And now with their savings tapped out, it's up to the Property Brothers to fix their home and find them a move-in ready new property. Jonathan and Drew step in to rescue the couple from real estate limbo. And earning their trust is step number one. Jonathan vows to restore their faith in contractors and promises to rip everything out and start from scratch. But during the kitchen demo he uncovers a health risk so dire the couple must move out of their home. Meanwhile, between budget restrictions and extra renovation costs, finding the couple a house with everything on their wish list proves tricky. That is, until Drew comes up with an innovative solution that could have everyone smiling.
