Junnan (67) is the father of eight and head of the Eira family. In the spring, the reindeer are on their way from Kautokeino to the summer pasture on the coast, and along the way this year's calves will be born. But many dangers threaten the reindeer accident.

A suitor is on his way to Kautokeino. Junnan's eldest daughter is planning to get married, and everything must be ready when her boyfriend's family comes to visit.
Kalvemerking
Autumn is approaching and the reindeer herd has to go the long way back to the winter pasture in inner Finnmark. But first this year's calves must be marked. The youngest of the family can try their hand at lasso and knife.
Vinterbeite
On their way to the winter pasture at Kautokeino, the reindeer herd encounters bad weather and uncertain ice. It is a risky time on the fjord. At the same time, Mikkel gets a new everyday life when he returns home after ten weeks in the TV series Farmen.
Reinlykken trues
Predators threaten the reindeer happiness of the Eira family. Every night a wolf kills a reindeer in the herd, and Ole Mathis wants to shoot it. Then it's time for slaughter. Several thousand reindeer will be sent to the eternal expanses. The cohabiting couple Liv and Mikkel have moved separately.
Ut av vinterdvalen
Darkness is over and the sun is back on Finnmarksvidda. Many thousands of reindeer must be vaccinated, but in minus 28 there is not much the family can do. Mikkel Isak becomes known as Farmen-Mikkel.
Reinkappkjøring og påskefestival
The young people go reindeer sledding in Tromsø. Mild weather leads to crowds on the plains and the reindeer do not get enough food. Mikkel wins the Farm and during the Easter Festival there is no doubt who is the village's new celebrity.

A year has passed and the reindeer herd will once again start on their journey to the summer pasture on the coast. But this time Junnan is not involved, it is Ole Mathis who is the new leader.
