In Cambridgeshire the Air Ambulance team are dispatched to a man in cardiac arrest whilst shopping. With paramedics already on scene, the critical care team deliver urgent medical assistance to get the casualty to hospital to undergo emergency surgery.

In the Peak District the Buxton Mountain Rescue Team rush to the aid of a fallen climber with a traumatic leg fracture. With poor weather conditions the coastguard helicopter is unable to land - the team resort to treating the open wound on the ground to prevent contamination and further blood loss to the foot.

Off the South coast near Gosport a son's Father's Day gift of jet skiing goes wrong when they suffer engine failure and run the risk of dangerously drifting into an international shipping lane. With huge ferries and tankers passing through hourly, a collision could be fatal. It's vital the Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service locate them as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, a second lifeboat crew in Portsmouth Harbour are dispatched to a woman who has suffered a back injury and is in excruciating pain. Unable to move, the crew must get her on to a stretcher and off the boat to shore for her to receive the medical attention she needs. But first they need to locate the boat amongst many thousands in the busy Harbour…
