A body with links to Rig 45 is found and opens up new questions about the motives for the murders. The police return to the rig and realize that they have stepped straight into a conspiracy that still demands life.

The Benthos staff refuses to cooperate with Emma and Trevor, which raises suspicions about the employees' motives. Someone is sabotaging on board, and Trevor begins to doubt Emma's ability to lead the investigation.

It becomes increasingly clear that Petra is not behind the new murders and the panic rises while the group realizes that there is either an unknown killer on board, or that the killer is one of them.

Distrust increases when the group realizes they are locked up with a killer. Trevor and Emma quarrel over the hard drive and he leaves the group to hide it, convinced that the murders are linked to its contents.

The group locks in Emma but can not agree on the next move. An alarm makes them realize that there are only hours left until the rig explodes and that despite distrust, they must work together to survive.
