It's Emma's first day as an officer without her tutor by her side, and she's got her hands full - 3 little pigs have escaped from a farm and are causing havoc on a busy main road. But pigs are faster than you think…

Phil is out on patrol on his own for the first time and soon answers a 999 call about a missing woman in danger so he races to the nearby beach in the hope of finding her before something happens.

Caity deals with a man found trying to get into a club with drugs in Aberystwyth, before encountering a very angry member of the public who doesn't like the police one bit.

Sam, Stu and Gethin are called to a fight in Milford Haven and need to treat injuries before trying to get to the bottom of what's happened.

More than the usual arrests and criminal activity, Rookie Cops is a unique opportunity to look deeper into the personalities of these new officers - and to understand what drives someone to give up an established career for their dream of becoming a police officer.
At the station and at home, from their first day to their first arrest, we learn how they feel about their new careers - and about the leap of faith it took them to get here.
