A living legend
Carlos Sainz faces his 14th Dakar. He defends his title and bids farewell to his family while enjoying breakfast. He begins an adventure with the same passion as when he started 40 years ago in rallying. We discover how he got started in motorsports. Together with his family, we see him celebrating his 59th birthday party, and we learn about the efforts he has made to remain active.
Lesson Learned
Carlos recalls his arrival in the World Rally Championship: the excitement of the first races and his family's reluctance. In Spain, this sport was unknown, and it started gaining relevance with Carlos. His first victory in Greece in 1990 was a milestone in the national sports arena. His past victories contrast with his navigation problems on the last Dakar.
The Matador
The years in which Carlos Sainz won his two World Rally Championships and started to become a legend: He is the Matador. Carlos' family, especially Reyes, his wife, fear danger. It is not easy on them that Carlos Jr. has decided to follow in his father's footsteps. Carlos and his son retrace their relationship since their early days in kart racing. It wasn't a bed of roses.
A Strike of Luck
Carlos trains in Majorca and recalls his years with Colin McRae and their intense rally battles. Subaru was his first disappointment in rallying, the last one coming in '98 with the incident in the last meters of the RAC. A life lesson for his son on his arrival in F1. Carlos recalls two of his son's most important moments. The accident in Russia and his podium in Brazil.
The Legacy Carries On
Carlos receives the Princess of Asturias Award in recognition of his entire career and his values in sport. In an emotional speech, Sainz reflects on his career and the education of his children. During the speech, he praises the figure of his wife, Reyes. While closely following his son's career, he recalls his last years in the World Rally Championship and his arrival at the Dakar.

But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
