The plot focuses on the successful HR manager Marina. She has long been disappointed in men, but all her thoughts are preoccupied with the question of how to become a mother for the glorious boy Denis. She collects the necessary documents and certificates, but due to an old conflict with her classmate Sveta, who now works in the social service, she is denied the adoption of Denis on the pretext that Marina is not married.

The woman recalls that she recently conducted an interview with the charming and kind Seryozha, who, due to his frivolous attitude to life, lost his job. Then she refused the man a job, but now offers him a fake marriage for the money, so that she can adopt Denis. However, it turns out that they will be under the control of social services for a whole year, and the social worker of the Light is looking for any excuse to bring the newly-made spouses to clean water.
