The story begins with the well-made abduction of a school bus with nine children from affluent and strong families, along with the driver and an attendant. Its traces are suddenly lost one morning disturbing the seemingly quiet life of a strong society. Police investigations are moving in uncharted waters and everything shows that it has to do with a group abduction. A young journalist is unexpectedly at the center of events. An entire society is being shaken. A puzzle of suspects is formed, secret passions and intrigues are revealed. The masks fall and the hidden lives of the protagonists come to light. Faced with a nightmarish reality, the heroes are forced to face their own demons. Will they be able to cross the "Silent Road" to reach the truth, atonement and finally redemption?

Thalia is forced to return to Vathi and convey the request of the kidnappers to the head of investigations, Nasos Economides. The same unanswered questions on her mind will concern the authorities. Why did the perpetrators choose to contact her? What is her connection to the case, other than the fact that her two nieces are among the abductees? At the same time, the kidnappers implement their plan with military discipline. It seems that they know everything about the children and their families, and with their faces covered, they give clear orders to Elpida and Savvas about the way they should operate inside the hideout. The amount they ask for is exorbitant and announcing it to parents causes a huge upset. However, Thalia's family will receive the biggest blow when they find out about her involvement.

Thalia is under constant surveillance and the police are anxiously awaiting the next call from the kidnappers. Parents are struggling to raise the ransom while struggling to get by in these trying times. The intensity of the moments will bring conflicts between them, while Thalia's family will be marginalized because of her involvement. The situation inside the hideout is also unbearable, with Elpida and Savvas demanding better living conditions from the kidnappers. At the same time, the presence of Athena's ex-husband and Aristea's biological father will bring more tension to the couple, with Vassilis unable to manage their already strained relationship. Thalia makes contact with Michalis, unaware that she has one of the kidnappers in front of her. The arrest of the fired driver will bring new evidence to the surface and highlight an old bowling case covered up by the school, while a tragic mistake by Mantos will jeopardize the negotiations.

The increase in the ransom amount from the kidnappers will lead the parents to despair and Nasos to the conclusion that the motives of the perpetrators are deeper. The investigations related to the bowling case inside the school will lead to arrests and the family of Spyros Karouzos will once again be in the spotlight. The situation at the hideout is equally tense. Michalis' accomplices demand a meeting with the "orchestrator" to clarify his intentions, as they know very well that the longer they delay in reaching an agreement, the tighter the rope around them. Savva's escape plan will put Elpida in a big dilemma. If something goes wrong, they will not only endanger their own lives, but also the children's.

A brutal murder will shock the community of Vathi, Attica. The blame lies primarily with the police as 23 days after the disappearance of the children, the investigations have led nowhere. Nasos is pressured by his superiors to cut Thalia out of the talks and immediately reach an agreement with the kidnappers. During an all-night event, parents will try to raise public awareness and thus put more pressure on the perpetrators and the police. Nasos and Thalia will find themselves on the sidelines and will understand that one needs the other. Athena's double life is revealed and at the same time the "orchestrator" will begin to open his cards. The developments will be stormy and for the first time Nasos and his team will locate one of the perpetrators.

Nevertheless, he tries to act normal and organize his escape. At the same time, Vassilis decides to help Thalia and reveal the illegal ring to her. The police investigation regarding the car accident will lead them to a name, Jason, and Michalis will meet the "orchestrator" of the kidnapping for the first time.

To know the end you have to go to the beginning. The 9th episode picks up the thread from the beginning, takes us to the past of the Caruso family and unravels the lives of our heroes. As the story unfolds, guilty, well-hidden secrets come to light and shock.

Michalis manages to avoid arrest and returns with the "orchestrator" to the hideout. Thalia learns for the first time that Michalis is one of the kidnappers, while the police delay negotiations as they get closer and closer to identifying the perpetrators. Athena reveals to Thalia the real reasons that led her to leave Vassilis and the Karousou family is shaken by the revelations surrounding the case of corruption in the Vathi community. A child's sudden illness will complicate things inside the hideout and the perpetrators will be divided over his surrender. At the same time, the police arrive for the first time to locate the "organizer's" phone number.

The investigations surrounding the corruption scandal in Vathi will lead to arrests and prosecutions.
