Zeit der Wölfe

While Commissioner Krüger withdraws into the Spreewald like a lonely wolf, Fichte tries to clarify the background of two accidents and the appearance of a gang of rockers. Two people die in quick succession during forestry work and a motorcycle accident. Fichte suspects a connection with the rocker gang „ Die Wölfe " that had just emerged from southern Germany. But he needs Commissioner Krüger for his investigation. But Krüger refuses, he is in a deep crisis of meaning. There is a break between the two investigators. While Fichte, together with the ambitious police candidate Luise Bohn, tries to solve the mysterious deaths, Krüger has gone deep withdrawn the forest. His hermitage is only disturbed by the hunter Drilling.
He wants to hunt down an immigrant wolf that tears sheep in the area. Krüger recognizes in the lonely animal a metaphor for the increasing loneliness and brutalization in society and for itself. Because Krüger has lost his intuition, which has so far helped him to solve his criminal cases. Spruce gropes in the dark. How the dead are connected and what it has to do with the anonymous patron who distributes money to social institutions in the Spreewald will remain a mystery for so long, until Krüger and Fichte have found a way to find side by side.
