While escorting a seriously ill boy to the closest Federation Starbase for treatment, Data mysteriously takes control of the Enterprise and takes it to a distant planet. He learns that his creator has summoned him for an important meeting that could change his life. However, Dr. Soong unknowingly summoned Data's twin brother Lore, into the bargain.

Picard faces a child-custody dilemma after the Enterprise rescues an orphaned human child.

Picard tries to save a terrorized planet and the Enterprise from a woman claiming to be the devil who has returned after 1,000 years to claim the planet as she was promised.

Clues
Upon investigating a newly discovered Class M planet, the crew are knocked unconscious. Data claims that they had only lost 30 seconds, but the crew begin to discover clues that Data may be lying about more than just that small detail.

First Contact
A first-contact mission puts Riker in an alien hospital, leaving Picard to convince the planet's leaders that the Enterprise poses no threat.

Galaxy's Child
After killing an attacking life form, the Enterprise discovers a "baby" within its womb; Geordi meets the object of his admiration, but his overly familiar attitude toward her makes their interactions uncomfortable.

Night Terrors
When the Enterprise becomes stuck in an energy-draining rupture in space known as a Tyken's Rift, the crew begins experiencing severe sleep deprivation, but one crew member's recurring dream may provide the solution that saves them all.

Geordi begins to exhibit signs of mutating into another life form as a result of a parasite picked up on an Away Team mission.

The Nth Degree
An alien probe threatens the Enterprise when it emits an energy surge that turns an innocuous crew member into a superhuman.

When an explosion damages the Enterprise's warp engine, a retired Starfleet admiral boards the ship and begins an investigation that ultimately leads her to suspect Captain Picard of participating in a treasonous conspiracy.

Half a Life
Lwaxana Troi pays another visit to the Enterprise, where she falls in love with a scientist from Kaelon II, but she is shocked to learn that he must soon return home to participate in a suicide ritual their culture has practiced for generations.

While on a peacekeeping mission to the Peliar system, a Trill ambassador begins a relationship with Dr. Crusher, but when he is injured in a surprise attack, he must confess to the doctor that his body is merely a host for a parasite.

The Mind's Eye
The Romulans brainwash Geordi as part of a plot to drive a wedge between the Federation and the Klingon Empire.

In Theory
While the Enterprise explores a nebula with unusual properties, Data becomes involved with a crew member.

Redemption
Part 1 of 2. Picard tries to keep the Federation neutral when the Klingon Empire faces civil war; Lt. Worf struggles with divided loyalties.
