Jesús reveals to Begoña that Valentín killed his wife, because he had a relationship with Valentín and was obsessed with her. Valentín absconded with the company's money and that of the Merinos, which is why he hates that family. Begoña understands that Lázaro Ramos was another victim of her family. María feels that Andrés is very distant, and he admits to Luis that he feels something strongly for Begoña. Andrés pays for Begoña's aunt's sanatorium place, and tries to come clean, but Begoña doesn't let him. Luis resigns from the factory, he does not want to work for someone who despises his father's efforts to build the company. Marcos begins to photograph the employees, he gives Marta a kiss on the corner of her mouth and she rejects... Marcos understands her interest.
