Blake Shelton Surprises a Fan Inspired by His Music While in Foster Care
Blake Shelton knows very well that country music touches a wide variety of people, and fan Ty is no exception. Ty grew up living on the streets, and then in foster care, aging out of the system before being adopted. He remembers being in a foster home when the TV got stuck on CMT, and falling in love with the music and the message that it is possible to make it out of a dark place. Now grown up, Ty volunteers to help youth currently in the system, so they don't fall victim to the same challenges he experienced. Blake Shelton is ready to give Ty the surprise of a lifetime with a performance of Ty's favorite song, "Honeybee," and "Boys Round Here," and to thank him for his work passing it forward to the next generation.
