Season 2
Following the gripping conclusion of the first season, Season 2 of Sullivan's Crossing opens just hours after Dr. Maggie Sullivan has learned about her father's stroke, and her life is once again thrown into turmoil. Choosing to delay her return to Boston to care for her father Sully, Maggie finds herself back in Sullivan's Crossing, where she must once again face her conflicted feelings about her father and address her growing attraction to Cal, as she struggles to come to terms with the realities of her pregnancy and the impact it may have on her career.

Guilt Trip
On the Season 2 premiere of Sullivan's Crossing, a guilt ridden Maggie Sullivan returns to the Crossing to find Sully in hospital struggling with the feeling that he's forgotten something. Cal Jones is confused when Maggie gives him the cold shoulder, unaware that Lola pocketed his goodbye letter. Sully connects with a new patient who is sharing his hospital room; Edna and Frank find themselves at odds for the first time in years; and Sydney and Rafe struggle to keep things platonic while living as roommates.
A Storm is Brewing
Sully is devastated when, at Lola's urging, Maggie breaks the news about his suspected diagnosis. Convinced the doctor is wrong, Maggie continues to look for other answers. Meanwhile, getting the cold shoulder from Maggie, Cal begins to question his reason for staying at the Crossing. Sydney starts to consider her own future as Rob questions if he'll ever be ready to open his heart again. After a surprising discovery, Maggie begins to realize she wasn't the only one that suffered when her mother took her away; and Frank becomes convinced that being in the hospital is doing Sully no good.
Confessions
Maggie, Cal, Lola and Sydney work together to help Edna secure the campground for an upcoming storm as they wait for Frank and Sully to return from their road trip. Frank tries to get Sully to quiet his mind long enough to figure out what's troubling him. Maggie helps a camper with PTSD. Frank confides in Sully about what really happened with his cousins in Alberta, and Sully finally opens up to Frank about Lola's accident.
Eye of the Storm
Maggie and Cal continue to fight their attraction as they are forced to wait out the storm alone at Cal's cabin. Sydney tells Rob the real reason she quit working at the diner, and Rob admits why he's having trouble with Finn. Maggie witnesses a new side to Cal when they help a camper in distress. Sully gets good news about his diagnosis after he and Frank return to the Crossing. Sully attempts to tell Lola the truth about her accident. Sydney has a momentary lapse of judgement that complicates things with Rafe; and Frank is finally able to help Sully remember the important thing he's forgotten.
Secrets
After learning that she and Cal want different things out of life, Maggie throws herself into helping Sully save the Crossing from the bank. Lola and Cal start to spend more time together as they look into legal options to help Sully. Maggie looks at her life a bit differently after hearing her baby's heartbeat; and Sully is optimistic after meeting with an investor until two unwelcome visitors arrive at the Crossing.
Revelations
After receiving some devastating news about her stepfather, Maggie starts to question everything in her life; Andrew continues to try and win Maggie back but continues to rub Sully the wrong way in the process. Sully struggles to reconcile the mixed emotions of having Phoebe back at the Crossing. Sydney moves back in with Rob, and Cal goes for a relaxing boys' night out which ends in a surprising revelation.
Reunions
Sully continues to try and figure out his financial worries as he is forced to confront his past; Frank and Edna continue to be at odds over Frank's refusal to make peace with his cousin; Phoebe struggles with her regrets; Maggie plans a family fishing trip hoping to bring Phoebe, Sully, and Andrew closer together, but Andrew's behaviour only causes Maggie to rethink her feelings for him. Meanwhile, Cal entertains a mysterious woman at his cabin while both Rob and Connie deal with relationships of their own.
Truth and Consequences
Maggie helps Cal care for his sister Sedona and, in the process, learns more about Cal's past. Sully and Phoebe reminisce about old times as they work side-by-side on a surprise for Maggie. Sydney is forced to face what she's been running from in New York. Back at the Crossing, things get heated after Walter comes looking for Phoebe.
Remorse
Maggie enlists Cal's help after Sully decides he must take drastic measures to set things right with Lola. Sydney returns from New York hoping to reconnect with a still heartbroken Rafe. Frank and Edna try to make amends. Sully makes a judgement call that will cost him dearly.
It's a Wonderful Life
Maggie, Cal, Frank, and Edna work together to help Sully keep the Crossing from falling into the wrong hands and in the process, Maggie starts to realize just how important the Crossing really is to her. Sully decides to take on a partner. Maggie works up the courage to confess her feelings to Cal, and a careless mistake may cost someone their life.
