Season 1

The series' protagonist, Sverre Fjeld (Trond Espen Seim) comes from Elverum and after graduating police college takes up a position at Stovner Police. Out on patrol he comes into contact with Trude (Ane Dahl Torp), who through her ex-husband is drawn into a criminal environment. Eventually he begins to engage more than healthy to help the young woman and her little daughter Sara to get a better life. When Sverre gets caught between his conscience and the law, he makes a fateful choice. This starts a chain of eventsand the problems pile up for him. Meanwhile waiting at home in Elverum is school sweetheart and fiance Randi (Tone Mostraum) preparing for their wedding oblivious to all that is going on with Sverre.
