Swamp Men - Season 2
Season 2
Episodes
Swamp Shootout
It's all-out combat as a re-enactment of the second Seminole War makes it even tougher to keep park visitors safe during one of the tribe's major cultural events. Meanwhile, Jay is responsible for keeping the park's swamp buggies running despite dangerously low water levels. Jay's younger brother, Everett, has joined the staff as an aspiring gator handler, but for his first assignment, he has to catch a gator with his bare hands because it is Seminole tradition. Then the park's seasoned gator handlers are put to the test when nuisance alligators turn up next to a housing development and the toughest gator at Billie Swamp Safari threatens to eat his offspring.
One Bad Gator
Handlers Cattail and One Bear are called in to relocate three feisty alligators to make room for an aggressive bull alligator named "Bad" from a nearby wildlife park. Meanwhile, at another part of the Big Cypress Reservation, Seminole Tribe member Cory Wilcox takes his trained dogs on a wild hog hunt. And Jacob teaches Everett the ins and outs of giving a swamp buggy tour so he can become a full-fledged Safari guide.
Most Wanted
Brian decides to bring "Trump," the park's notorious 800-pound alligator, onto the Safari's compound to keep closer tabs on the aging reptile. While preparing to move Trump to a new enclosure, One Bear and Cattail discover an abscess that requires surgery. On the other side of the park, the staff embarks on a mission to bring water to a drought-stricken area known as "Alcatraz," which serves as a safe haven for large nuisance gators. Then, Seminole Tribe member Billy Walker gives a new employee a hands-on lesson in handling alligators that he won't soon forget.
Gator Beatdown
Wildlife handlers One Bear and Cattail go to unexpected extremes to remove a nuisance alligator from a local fishing spot, while a colony of bees invade guest huts and must be relocated immediately by a professional bee wrangler. And across the park, staffer Rey Becerra recognizes a rehabilitated hawk looking for food. Assuming it must be caring for its young, Rey tracks down its nest to see how the young are faring.
Restroom Rattler
Safari founder James Billie returns to the park to discover the exotic herd animals he introduced years ago are threatening to take over; this prompts Steve and Cory to launch a bison trapping operation; Manny helps relocate a rattlesnake into the wild; "Cattail" and "Onebear" remove a collection of venomous reptiles from the park and James teaches his nine year old son Eecho how to handle alligators and hunt for garfish.
Deadly Blow
The Swamp Men are called out to help a property owner remove a 700-pound gator, but the gator appears to be more lethargic than normal. They transport it back to Billie Swamp Safari hoping to restore its health, but their efforts are unsuccessful. The circle of life continues, however, as the team works together to save an old gator that's being bullied out of his share of food.
Predator Patrol
Due to recent rains, Billie Swamp Safaris water levels are rising, and the alligators are on the move. When an 11-foot gator gets too close to tourists at the Safari boat dock, Gus jumps in feet first and feels under the dock for the nuisance gator, eventually capturing the aggressive beast. Once its relocated, the Swamp Men assume they have seen the last of this troublesome reptile, but that's not the case.
Alligator Attack
The staff of Billie Swamp Safari are no strangers to risk. When newbie staffer Meghan gets bitten by a three-footer in the gator pond, everyone takes it in stride. Meanwhile, Cory Wilcox and his crew are trapping hogs in an effort to control the growing population. And Everett Osceola is showing master gator handler Billy Walker that he is ready to graduate as a handler. After Meghan's injury, she's back at Safari to prove she's up to any task. This time she's learning the ins and outs of driving airboats from Steve. Meanwhile, Onebear and Cattail release into the park previously injured herons, and rush to save the day after they get an emergency call that a wild hog is wreaking havoc on the reservation.
Big Nasty
Moving two of Billie Swamp Safari's meanest alligators, threatens a serious injury to Seminole Wildlife Officer, Gus 'Onebear' Batista. Working through the pain, Onebear pushes on, until the dangerous mission is complete and the alligators are safe in their new home. Across the park, there are reports of a nuisance alligator hanging out at one of the overnight, Chickee huts. With guests on their way, the alligator must be removed, but when Operations Supervisor Donald arrives at the huts, the alligator is nowhere to be seen. The search for the elusive reptile continues until they finally corner the alligator and call back in Wildlife Officers to remove the gator from the park grounds. With alligator incidents on the rise around Safari, Park Director Jay Osceola, decides that it is time for some of the newer employees to get a lesson in alligator handling. Jay brings in one of the best-known handlers in the area, to give three "newbies" a crash course in working with alligators.
Gator Pit Round-Up
Seminole Tribal Chairman James Billie has new marching orders for crew at Billie Swamp - catch as many small gators as possible for the educational gator pit, but, in order to get the job done, the park brings in wildlife officers Onebear and Cattail to help. Everyone at the park is chipping in-even James Billie's son Eecho who's learning the hard way that catching small gators is treacherous and dangerous work.
