At the dawn of a new gator season, a devastating onslaught of storms and hurricanes threatens the fate of swampers' livelihoods. As dark clouds roll in, Troy unleashes his armada of boats, launching a full assault on the bayou, as he institutes an ambitious quota for day one. Ronnie and Timmy risk a perilous trip outside the Locks, racing against the rising sea levels. Jacob puts his new partner Little Willie to the ultimate test, while Joey takes a gamble on training his daughter to be his new deckhand to carry on the family legacy. Meanwhile, Don Brewer faces the pressure of captaining his own boat under the weight of Troy's lofty expectations, with a greenhorn by his side. 

As a turbulent hurricane season looms, swampers race against time to capitalize on a rare break in the weather. Troy and Pickle take a calculated gamble in the sugarcane fields, Leron and Porkchop defy superstition by venturing into Scary Bayou, an area avoided by most hunters for its eerie reputation. Daniel challenges his new deckhand, Zak Catchem, in a friendly but fierce competition. Bruce fishes with a new partner, Anna Ribbeck.

With Hurricane Francine barreling toward Louisiana, swampers rush to stack their boats before the storm's landfall. Troy and Pickle head to Lake Fausse Pointe, where they hope to fill the boat in this under fished area. Ronnie is forced to hunt solo after Timmy becomes ill. Joey teaches his daughter Kallie the intricacies of open-water hunting. Bruce and Anna battle a cannibal that's invaded their honeyhole. 

As Hurricane Francine strikes with full force, hunters face the dual challenge of navigating a dangerous storm and preserving their season. Ronnie and Timmy bet on a feeding frenzy in the marsh before the storm. Joey and Kallie hunt open waters before joining Daniel to prepare their family business for a direct hit. Troy and Pickle press their luck and hunt to the bitter end. Bruce and Anna navigate shallow, treacherous waters in search of giants, pushing their equipment and nerves to the limit.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Francine, swampers rally to reignite their gator season amid the storm's devastation. Ronnie and Timmy fight to finish their marsh tags before the gators move inland. Bruce and Anna chase monsters in a remote honey hole, battling low water levels that threaten to trap them. Jacob unleashes Little Willie on the bayou beasts to compensate for lost time. Don and Calum stumble into a bayou with a perilous sinkhole. Scrambling to fill tags, Troy and Pickle wage war against a cannibal gator, named Jigsaw, that's cutting into their catch.

Swampers race to cash in on a post-hurricane feeding frenzy. Troy and Pickle take on a dangerous hunt using spears to fill their tags in a no-firearms zone. Joey and Kallie venture deep into the remote Blackwater Swamp in search of a legendary 14-foot monster. Little Willie gets the chance to prove himself as he runs 50 lines alone. Bruce and Anna battle breakdowns and boat trouble in a promising new hunting area.

As record-breaking heat descends on Southern Louisiana, Troy and Pickle rely on shaded lines along the edge of Lake Verret to protect their catch from the blistering sun. Jacob and Little Willie target deeper, cooler bayous to chase gators seeking protection from the heat. Daniel and Zak bait lines near gator dens, hoping to snag the beasts sticking close to home. Bruce and Anna are forced to offload their gators midway through the day to preserve their monster haul. Leron pushes his limits, battling heat exhaustion as Porkchop steps up to take charge.
