Switch - Season 1

Mac poses as a movie producer to get the goods on Anthony Kirk, an actor (Keir Dullea) who blackmails on the side. Switch has an amusing caper which takes full advantage of Universal Studios, where it is filmed. Keir Dullea plays an actor who uses disguises and blackmails actress Julie Sommars. Heroes Robert Wagner and Eddie Albert set up a frame which involves making Kirk think he has been discovered to star in an epic film. Première.

Lou Belasco, a private detective (Roger C. Carmel) acquires $1 million in gems stolen from his client by killing the jewel thief. To snare him, Pete and Mac must resort to tricks used by old gumshoes. The cops turn to Pete and Mac for a special job.

Paul Sinclair, a lawyer who embezzled a million dollars from a retirement home takes up residence in Brazil, a country from which he cannot be extradited. Ryan and MacBride face a real challenge -- how to get Sinclair and his embezzled one million dollars out of Brazil within a week in order to save the residents of a senior citizens' home from being evicted.

When a family of con artists stages seances to bilk rich widows out of their money, Pete and Mac decide to enliven the game. The distaff members of the Simon family stage seances to con rich widows and widowers into investing their money in the stock market through their 'broker". The Simon family conduct "seances" on unsuspecting people, including a kindly lady whose nephew enlists Pete and Mac to expose the con artists. They come up with a plan, including a costly loan of $100,000—at 10 per cent interest per week—from a loan shark they know. They fake Pete's death, and Mac, posing as his father, remorsefully attends a seance for the big windup.

Robin Morgan convinces Pete and Mac to come to the mountains of Oregon to help try to prove that her uncle was her father's murderer.

Pete and Mac try to get a hijacker to reveal where he and two partners hid a stolen armored car carrying $900,000.

A dim jewel thief waits almost seven years to fence a stolen emerald, but Pete and Mac catch him just before the statue of limitations runs out.

Ralph Kabelka, a businessman (Vic Tayback), sets fire to his plant and lets an ex-con employee take the blame. Kabelka creates the perfect alibi to cover the burning of his own business but makes the mistake of framing an ex-con, a former prison mate of Pete's.

Pete and Mac take an ocean cruise to get Harmon, a fellow passenger (Lloyd Bochner) to admit that he had his bookkeeper murdered. All the action takes place in Puerto Vallarta.

A syndicate don helps turn the tables on Jean Paul Jacquard, a swindling French Romeo (Ricardo Montalban).

A routine investigation of a wealthy man's prospective son-in-law stirs up a storm of violent reaction. This routine background check turns dangerous for Pete and Mac when local police, the FBI and the mob all want to stop their investigation.

Pete and Mac attempt to rescue Fran Yarrow, a model who was abducted by white slavers.

An attempt on Pete's life triggers flashbacks recalling the creation of his and Mac's partnership.

Ann Blyth makes a rare TV appearance (except for a cupcake commercial). She plays an apprehensive woman who hires Pete and Mac to keep an eye on her husband. But he's kidnapped while they are watching, and he Is held in $3 million ransom. To make amends for their embarrassment, Pete and Mac devise a plan to get the man back, without paying off the ransom.

Two robbers turn Earl Harper, a bank manager (Jacques Aubuchon) into a remote-controlled walking bomb.

An avant-garde artist (Ann Prentiss) is sure that someone is trying to kill her and that her dead uncle's body isn't in its casket. Against Mac's advice, Pete takes on the assignment of helping Paula Wirehouse (guest star Ann Prentiss) try to establish whether her despised Uncle Barney is really dead and buried. After discovering Barney's casket empty, Pete and Paula beat a grave-robbing charge, only to witness several attempts on the lives of two people near and dear to them — themselves.

An airline stewardess is murdered after she starts raising questions about a large shipment of Federal Reserve funds. Pete finds himself accused of the rape and murder of an airline stewardess who is killed after she stumbles onto a plot by her captain and his crew, to steal Federal reserve money which they are transporting.

Joan Blondell portrays Delores Lear, the matriarch of a family that specializes in extortion. Joan Blondell guest stars as head of a family specializing in extortion, who tries to frame Mac and get him sent to jail to pay for her husband getting killed in prison. After being foiled once by Pete and Mac, Mrs. Lear returns to millionaire C.C. Owens and threatens to destroy his entire antique car collection unless he helps her frame Mac.

A young man is murdered after stumbling onto something at a heavily guarded mountain gun club. Pete and Mac investigate the mysterious death of a client's brother and find themselves the target of a television commentator.

Pete and Malcolm are suspected of stealing a million dollars of underworld money. Pete suddenly becomes the possible target for a bullet from the syndicate when they believe that he and Malcolm are partners in a scheme which ripped them off for one million dollars. Given 24 hours to produce the missing million or else, Pete and Malcolm take off for the Bahamas, trying to keep Mac out of this for his own safety, only to discover that he is perhaps the only one who can save their lives.

In Las Vegas, Pete and Mac search for a twice-stolen tote bag that a lot of shady people want, but for mysteriously different reasons.

A Las Vegas superstar hires Pete and Mac as bodyguards when he seems to be the target of a killer.

Pete and Mac find themselves in Casablanca, trying to out-con Fouad Jahrat, a local syndicate head, who is responsible for an innocent American being held indefinitely in the local jail.

Veronica Hamel plays Nabilla, their local contact, who has been successful in getting young Jack Wood out of jail. When she discovers that Mac is not really the millionaire he pretends to be, she has to discard one plan to solve Wood's predicament and opt for a more desperate solution.

A woman is placed in danger when her husband discovers a 'death squad' attempting to free a prisoner from jail.
