Jacob
17-year-old Jacob is a thief, a liar, and has been abusing alcohol & marijuana for 2 years. Josh must convince Jacob's parents that Jacob still needs unconditional love, or else they'll kick him out.

Samm
17-year-old Samm smokes marijuana, drives high, snorts painkillers, has unprotected sex & is failing out of school. But Samm knows she is screwing up her life--it was Samm who contacted Josh for help.

Asmara
16-year-old Asmara smokes marijuana, takes Ecstasy, drinks to the point of blacking out & disappears for weeks at a time. Josh makes Asmara spend a winter night on the streets with a homeless person.

Lexi
14-year-old Lexi drinks, smokes marijuana, abuses over-the-counter meds, takes ecstasy, goes to all-night raves & then disappears for days. Josh forces her to confront death in a raw, unglamorous way.

Ashley
19-year-old Ashley is addicted to heroin and methamphetamine. Josh enlists the help of a special effects makeup artist to give Ashley a glimpse into her future if she continues to use meth.

Dayne
15-year-old Dayne is a gun-carrying, drug dealing thug who loves to smoke marijuana, fight, rob people, and steal from cars. Josh assigns Dayne one of the most gut-wrenching tasks yet.

Brandi
15-year-old Brandi is hell-bent on getting high--drinking, snorting pills, smoking methamphetamine and huffing (inhaling air duster). Josh makes Brandi spend a night on the streets with a prostitute.
