Bhutan
Charles Rangeley-Wilson travels to Bhutan, where the king gives him a week's permit to fish for brown trout. The species' ancestors started life in a loch in Scotland before being introduced to the rivers of the Himalayan kingdom in the early 20th century. In the spring-fed stream of the Gangtey Valley and the torrential Tang River, Charles braves extreme cold and altitude sickness in search of his precious catch.
Brazil
Charles Rangeley-Wilson heads to the Rio Negro, regarded as the best place for fishing in the Amazon, in search of peacock bass. The fish is known to challenge the hardiest of anglers, and Charles's efforts take him upriver from his base in search of a wise man said to know the secrets of making the elusive catch.

Charles Rangeley-Wilson concludes his angling journey with an emotional trip to London, where he attempts to catch rare wild brown trout in places including the surprisingly serene River Wandle, the bustle of Wandsworth town, and the capital's sewers as he traces the now-hidden River Fleet.
India
Charles Rangeley-Wilson takes an angling journey around the world locating unusual fish and the stories behind them. He begins with a trip to India, where he tries to catch mahseer, the strongest and biggest freshwater species on the planet, before moving on to Mysore, home of the Cauvery river.

Incorporating a mixture of bodycam, dash-camera, and cellphone footage to create a cinema verité effect, the innovative series explores the morality of protecting and serving a community.
