Week 1
Emily Maynard, the beautiful, sweet, young mom who captured America's and Brad Womack's heart on the 15th season of "The Bachelor," finally thought she had her happy ending. She accepted Brad's proposal but unfortunately their relationship ended, along with her dream of moving to Austin with her daughter, Ricki, and starting a family. But Emily is ready for her luck to change and to bring her the love she so richly deserves. It's hard to meet men as a single mom, but Emily will have her pick of 25 bachelors when she gets a second opportunity to find love starring in the eighth edition of "The Bachelorette," the female version of ABC's hit romance reality series.

Week 2
This is no ordinary Bachelorette, as the 19 remaining men find out when they are "tested" from the start about how they might fit into Emily's world as a dad, as well as working at a charity event that is near and dear to her heart. Now ensconced in the sprawling 12,000-square foot mansion in Emily's hometown of Charlotte, the men quickly learn that roses will be at stake on the one group date and on two individual dates. However, the competition is revved up when they learn that not all the men will get dates before the next rose ceremony, so the bachelors must take advantage of every opportunity to score points with the Bachelorette. A special concert by hit country music trio Gloriana and a charming, scene-stealing romp with the acclaimed Muppets, featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy, at the charity event are real delights. But after careful deliberation, Emily must eliminate three men, as she starts to try and make her fairytale come true.

Week 3
Chris' heart is racing - for more than one reason: Not only does he discover that he has this week's first one-on-one date with Emily, he's jolted when he learns that he must attempt to scale a building with her if he's to spend any quality time with the Bachelorette, and when she surprises him with a performance by country star Luke Bryant. Meanwhile 12 men will be grilled by Emily's friends, who will report back to her about who they think would be a good match for her and a good stepfather for Ricki. Emily surprises Arie with a flight to Dollywood for a special day on which the park is open only to them, and in a total shocker to Emily, her idol, country music legend Dolly Parton, gives the couple a private concert. But it all ends at a dramatic cocktail party when some of the men come clean about whether they're ready to step up and be a stepfather, which sends shock waves through the group -- and Emily decides to do something about it.

Week 4
Thirteen excited bachelors start the trip of a lifetime with Emily, as their tour begins in the British island paradise of Bermuda. Emily and Ricki embrace the local culture while the men arrive via scooter. John and Nate are pitted against one another on the dreaded two-on-one date as the trio board a luxury yacht before jumping off the edge of a cliff. Doug shares a delightful one-on-one date with Emily as they explore the picturesque city of St. George. The seaworthy group date finds eight men on sailboats competing in a spirited regatta for extra time with the Bachelorette. Finally, it all culminates on a night where the inclement weather rolls in along with drama at the cocktail party. Two men face off as nerves are fraying before the tense rose ceremony and tearful bachelors are eliminated before the lucky group of remaining men travel to London.

Week 5
Explosive drama underlines the group's trip to historic London. From Buckingham Palace to the Tower of London, Emily and Sean share the romance of the city. Shakespearian theatre will never be the same once eight men on a group date invade the Bard's birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, to perform classic scenes from "Romeo and Juliet." However, the after party turns from going to a pub for a brew to a brawl when Emily discovers that one of the men has made a disrespectful comment about her daughter, Ricki. Not only does Emily confront the offender, but she finds none of the other men support her and ends up making some stunning decisions. Jef and Emily have a proper English tea, but decide to ditch their stern etiquette teacher and escape to a local pub. Trying to put the drama about her daughter aside, she takes Jef to one of the most romantic spots in the city - the London Eye, a gigantic Ferris wheel on the banks of the Thames River. But Emily makes it her personal mission at the cocktail party to find out which guys knew about the offensive comment and why they didn't warn her earlier about the insulting bachelor. Do any of these men have her back? She needs to find out and fast, as the group travels to Croatia next.

Week 6
The medieval town of Dubrovnik supplies the beauty, and Emily and the remaining eight men provide the fireworks as the romantic world tour continues. The bachelors are hoping that Emily finally will see through Ryan's bold facade when they go on a one-on-one date. Arie decides to break the rules and risks sneaking out of the guys' suite to see Emily, but what kind of reception will he get? A group date starts with a special sneak peek screening of the new Disney·Pixar film "Brave," but the guys find out that they need to compete for Emily's attention by dressing in kilts and performing in their own version of the Highland Games, just like in the movie. Finally at the rose ceremony, Emily continues to make bold moves to ensure her future happiness and also makes Bachelorette history.

Week 7
The pressure mounts as Emily must determine which four men will have the opportunity to take her home to meet their families. Prague, the picturesque capital of the Czech Republic will serve as the backdrop for Emily's most important decision yet. However, there is something that has been weighing on Emily's mind a lot lately about Arie, and she aims to get it straightened out once and for all: what exactly happened between this handsome race car driver and one of the show's producers? The only rose up for grabs this week will be on the group date, and that man will be guaranteed a hometown visit, which only ratchets up the drama. How far will desperate bachelors go to make their fantasy come true? Chris is on the verge of a breakdown by rose ceremony time, but Emily is confident who the final four should be.

Week 8
The stakes are high as Emily returns from her exciting and emotionally charged journey around the world to travel across the country to visit Arie, Chris, Jef and Sean in their hometowns. She has shown a spirit and resilience that has surprised her suitors, but she will be severely tested by some of the families as she tries to figure out if she can be in love with more than one man. Are all of these bachelors ready for marriage and to be dads? Emily will find out from the people that know them the best, as she moves closer to making her own fairytale come true.

Week 9
Romantic adventures await Emily and the final three bachelors - Arie, Jef and Sean - as they travel to the tropical paradise of Curacao with the impending possibility of intimate overnight dates. There's electricity and passion in the air during of these sand and surf excursions, as Emily continues to explore what her future would be like with each one of these potential partners. She is faced with extending an invitation to each bachelor to spend the night in a "fantasy suite." However will this single mom trade her conscience in exchange for much needed private time with her bachelors?

Now, after surviving some stunning twists and turns, Emily has narrowed down the 25 bachelors to two fabulous guys, Arie and Jef. Although her two relationships have progressed at different speeds - passionate and steamy from the start with Arie, while the other with Jef just grew out of a playful crush - Emily is completely in love with both men. She hopes her family, now on the beautiful island of Curacao, will offer some crucial input on which bachelor would make the better match for her.
