The Bridge - Season 2

Season 2
The Bridge: Race to a Fortune
Channel 4's gruelling reality competition The Bridge returns for a supersized second series in a new tropical location. There's double the drama and double the money up for grabs as two teams go head to head to be the first to get their hands on a £200k jackpot.

Episodes

Episode 1
The return of the reality challenge in which 16 strangers gather in the paradise islands of Ha Long Bay, Vietnam and compete to be the first to get their hands on a £200,000 jackpot. Split into two team, they must race to build a bridge over 1,000 feet of water in just 12 days to reach the cash held on top of Fortune Rock. The question is, will whoever reaches the money first choose to share it with their team-mates?

Episode 2
The teams are three days into their challenge and are forced to appoint leaders in the hope of kick-starting their bridge builds. One member of each group is also given the chance to be a mole. Who will feel the pressure and who will stop at nothing in the race to the money?

Episode 3
The contestants finally discover they are not alone - this is a race, and only member of the team that reaches the island first is in with a shot at the £200,000 prize. With both groups way behind schedule, will this new information spur them on? Meanwhile, moles David and Alex return to dish the dirt, and two members of each team face a dilemma - do they take 10 anchors back to the build or secretly pocket £10,000?

Episode 4
The halfway point arrives but both teams are far from reaching their target. South Beach's bridge has been destroyed by rough tides, while the North Beach contestants have fallen apart by tension and in-fighting. Just when it seems all hope is lost, Aldo Kane offers the teams a lifeline in the form of a tug-of-war challenge, which sees them literally fighting over 100ft of bridge in the hope of pulling it back to their own beach.

Episode 5
As the two sides begin to make good progress, host AJ Odudu presents them with a curveball - any team member can put themselves forward to switch beaches. At least one person from each group must move to their rivals, and if no one volunteers, then it's up to the team leaders who goes.

Episode 6
Fractures are starting to show in both camps and the long hours, hard graft and difficult conditions are taking their toll, even on the strongest members of the teams. North Beach decide now is the time for a reconnaissance mission and set out to their rivals' beach in the dead of night.

Episode 7
One of the teams is dealing with a betrayal after one of their own sabotages the build in exchange for some of the prize fund. The team's chances of being first to the money have never seemed so far out of reach. Luckily, there's a lifeline around the corner, as both teams are offered the chance to bid for a carpenter to join their ranks. But they're not bidding in money - they're bidding in the number of team members to go home.

Episode 8
The contestants are in the final few hours of building their bridges. Tensions run high as both teams edge closer to the island and the jackpot - it's neck and neck as they build with fury to be first to finish. Which team will make it to the money first? And who will leave with the jackpot? Presented by AJ Odudu.
