Jenny tries to help Benjamin with his campaign for school captain when seeing how well he is coping with the divorce, but she goes a little too far and creates damage between them that could be irreparable.

Help Yourself
Jenny and Danny have an argument about co-parenting, when she feels like nobody listens to her. In the meantime, Benjamine decides to audition for a role in a production of Medea at school.

Adult Education
Benjamin tries to help his mother find a new partner after seeing his father with someone else. But he could be jeopardising his role in the school play when he gets too involved.

The Family Kerr
Candy and Wayne ask Benjamin to be their `man of honour', and he sets out to create the perfect wedding for them. Wayne's parents' gift of a Mt Isa property sets up a showdown between Candy and Jenny.

Money, Money, Money
When the family car breaks down, Jenny can no longer ignore her lack of financial independence. Benjamin's commitment to the school play causes problems with Melissa.

Matters of the Heart
Things aren't as good as they seem for Danny, and he cracks under the pressure. Ben keeps a secret for the sake of his family. The Laws must pull together through hard times once again.

The Neighborhood
The Neighborhood telling about what happens when the friendly guy in the Midwest moves his family to a neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone looks like him or appreciates his extreme neighborliness. When Dave Johnson and his family arrive from Michigan, they're unfazed that their new dream home is located in a community quite different from their small town. However, their opinionated next-door neighbor, Calvin Butler, is wary of the newcomers, certain that they'll disrupt the culture on the block. Dave realizes that fitting into their new community is more complex than he expected, but if he can find a way to connect with Calvin, they have an excellent chance of making their new neighborhood their home.

Wild Cards
Wild Cards follows the unlikely duo of a gruff, sardonic cop and a spirited, clever con woman. Ellis, a demoted detective, has unfortunately spent the last year on the maritime unit, while Max has been living a transient life elaborately scamming everyone she meets. But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
