The Grand Fishing Adventure is BACK for a second series. Starring globe-trotting angler Ali Hamidi and retired Premier League footballer and avid fisherman Bobby Zamora, as they set off overseas for their second bucket list fishing tour; this time to Spain and France.
Episodes
Episode 1
Ali Hamidi and Bobby Zamora's bucket list fishing tour begins in Spain on the wild Guadiana River in the centre of the country. The mission is to catch Ali's childhood dream fish - the rare comizo barbel, with a target weight of over 10lbs. Next, the boys head to Lake Proserpina, near Merida; an urban lake built by the Romans. The mission here is for them both to catch a winter 30lb plus carp - but in tough conditions, have the boys bitten off more chorizo than they can chew?
Episode 2
The second leg of the fishing tour sees Ali Hamidi and Bobby Zamora venture to Lake Orellana in Spain. This colossal wild water is over 20,000 acres in size and holds some truly giant fish. The main mission is for both the lads to catch a 30lb-plus carp.
Episode 3
Ali a Bobby's tour takes them to northern France. First stop is a lake holding ornamental koi carp, where they have a competition to see who can catch the most colourful fish. Next, the boys travel to Sens, to a lake called Le Prunet, which holds carp to over 80lbs. The mission here is to catch a carp of 40lbs plus. Their tactical plan for day and night bites and works well, but will they bank a real biggun', or will they run out of steam first with little sleep and intense heat?
Episode 4
Ali and Bobby head to southern France for the final leg of the tour with a diver and underwater cameras in tow, to a fishing holiday complex called Iktus. The first mission is to catch a giant sturgeon. They can be tricky to catch, but the boys are armed with their invaluable underwater intel. Next, onto the main lake that holds monster PB-busting carp to over 80lbs. The dream here is to catch a French PB and capture all the action on the underwater cameras too.

Some of them are lone wolves; others have their families beside them. All must overcome despairing odds to brave the wild and survive through to the spring. Only the mentally fit will be able to endure the extreme test of isolation and endless work required to survive the many months of winter in the Alaska bush.
