Entrepreneur and investor Eric Collins heads to Sussex to visit an award-winning artisan bread company in the grip of the pandemic. Alex, CEO of the Sussex Kitchen, is losing customers and in danger of going bankrupt within a month. To make some much-needed dough, Eric has to convince Alex to pivot his business away from wholesale to focus on online customers. But he has his work cut out persuading the social media sceptic to change things round at the speed he demands.
Winny's Meals
Entrepreneur and investor Eric Collins heads to Birmingham to visit frozen meal delivery company Winny's Meals. Shaun Sookoo started his Caribbean-inspired food company three years ago when he decided to turn his mum's home-cooked meals into a business and had friends queuing round to block to buy them. The business has been expanding at an exponential rate but when Eric looks at the figures, he is shocked to discover serious problems. Not only are customers no re-ordering, but Shaun's mother is not involved any more.
Trim-It
Eric Collins meets Darren Tenkorang, the founder of Trim-It, a mobile barber service that can be booked via an app. Eric knows the company has huge potential but can't understand why they are growing so slowly? With The Money Maker's help, the business could be ten times more successful, but only if they take his advice and act upon it quickly before potential competitors steal Trim-It's march. With no time to lose, Eric puts Darren under pressure to accept his investment, but will they agree on the best way forward?

But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
