Episode 8
In this week's episode, PC Andy Doran pulls over a driver for using his mobile phone behind the wheel. Unhappy about this, the driver initially refuses to follow Andy's request to join him in the patrol car for questioning. The situation escalates further as the driver continues to avoid Andy's questions. In Ellesmere Port, PC Amy Hollis has been called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision near Cheshire Oaks. Luckily, there are no serious injuries, but the removal of the cars from the road proves tricky when a tyre comes loose, bringing the car to a stop in the middle of the road and causing further chaos on the busy roundabout. And on the M53, PC Chris Swash is following a car that is driving at over 90mph. When he pulls the driver over, he detects a strong smell of cannabis and performs a drug test. When the test comes back positive, Chris searches the vehicle and questions the passenger — whose story does not align with the testimony the driver gave him. Do the suspects have more to hide?
