Episode 1
The guests arrive in their new home in Jaipur and become unsettled about the prospect of living in the strange city, full of animals in the street, chickens killed to order, poor toilet facilities and hectic roads. The group visit their local guides home and explore the 500-year-old Amer Fort and soon begin to experience the gulf between the rich and the poor. Wayne gets spiritual, Miriam gets in touch with her funny side, Rosemary tries meditation for the first time and a party is thrown to meet the neighbours.

Episode 2
Wayne and Bobby take a trip to the barbers, as Miriam and Patti head to the local laundry service. Jan attends a session with a psychic guru. The group try yoga, learn Hindi and take advantage of the medical services available. Miriam and Rosemary are shocked by the results from the Doctors. The group have a night out at the Paladio, were Wayne learns more about gay people in India. The group head to the Taj Mahal, with Miriam, Rosemary and Wayne opting to take the train and the others taking a chaffeur-driven car.

Episode 3
The group take part in a laughing yoga session, before heading to Varanasi, one of the holiest cities in India. They also head to the largest slum in Jaipur and attend Ganesh Chaturti Festival. Bobby and Jan go searching for a property. The group discuss what they have learned from their experience, reflecting on their 3-week stay before they head back home to England.
