But that was free Gabrielle, and responsible Gabrielle lives in the real world - is sex with Evan the best idea? Alex is sure that her supervisor, Professor Vanda, is the main reason she's being sent to Edenhope, a remote posting near the SA border. For the first time in her academic life Alex feels like she is being treated as the `problem child'. Rex doesn't agree and a rift develops. Kelly is working on her first university essay. Jake is helping out. Through their shared ideas, intimacy grows. Christian gets a sexy text message from a girl, Katie, at the Fu Bar. She's sitting at the other end of the bar. Christian and Katie have a drink and he discovers that she's deaf. They can't talk to each other but there's other ways of communicating.
