The pilot of a World War 2 Bomber called King Nine crashes in an African desert, wondering when and where he is. The Captain soon regains consciousness, he starts searching his surroundings and soon finds the graves of his crew and eventually wakes up in a hospital bed, 17 years after the crash. As the psychiatrist assures the nurse that the Captain is only reliving what happened in his mind, she begins to wonder, especially after finding sand in his shoes.

The Man in the Bottle
A poor pawnbroker inadvertently releases a genie from an old bottle, and is granted three wishes. However, the pawnbroker soon discovers that all wishes have a price.

Nervous Man in a Four Dollar Room
A nervous little hustler, Jackie Rhoades, is ordered to make a hit on someone for a mobster. However, when he tries to leave his hotel room, he discovers that he first must conquer his ultimate enemy: the face in the mirror.

Back There
At a meeting in a Washington, D.C. club, several professors hold a discussion on whether it's possible to travel back in time to alter history. One of the men, feeling somewhat faint on his way home, soon finds himself travelled back to the night of Lincoln's assassination. Thinking back to his discussion, he soon decides to try and warn the President, only to be arrested for disturbing the peace. He then realizes that some past events can be changed; others can't.

The Whole Truth
A used-car dealer (Jack Carson) is forced to tell the truth after buying a car from an old man (George Chandler) who says it is haunted.

The Invaders
After investigating a loud noise outside of her farmhouse, an elderly woman soon gets terrorized by what appears to be aliens that arrived in a small UFO. However, it turns out that the invaders happen to be astronauts that have been stranded on a planet with giant humanoid people.

When a coin lands on its edge, a bank clerk gains the ability to hear other people's thoughts--and soon learns that he can't always believe what he hears.

After being admitted into the hospital for nervous fatigue and being overworked, a dancer by the name of Liz Powell has a hard time resting because of a recurring dream of being led to the hospital morgue. It is only after she gets released and arrives at the airport, about to fly to Miami for a job, does she realize what her dream really meant.

On a transatlantic flight to New York City, a pilot and his crew discover that they broke the sound barrier and as a result, travel back in time. Running low on fuel, they try their best to repeat their feat in order to return to the correct year and land.

A pioneer who's leading a wagon train to California soon finds himself in 1961 after he goes searching for medical help for his ill son. While in the modern day, the pioneer soon discovers that his son's destiny is to become a doctor and help others.

The Rip Van Winkle Caper
After successfully robbing a gold shipment, the band of thieves and their scientist ringleader decides to hide in a cave in the desert in suspended animation until the law is no longer looking for them. However, after they awaken from their chambers, the thieves soon discover that their rich, bright future is more than a bit tarnished.

The Silence
One night at a men's club, respected Colonel Archie Taylor grows tired of the constant chatter of fellow member Jamie Tennyson. As a result, Taylor offers Tennyson a wager: stay silent for one year and be paid $500,000 while living in a glass enclosed cell inside the men's club. However, after the wager is accepted, both men go to drastic measures to win.

At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map furthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach Destination X will be crowned the winner.
