In a special 25th season, 14 welterweights from past seasons of The Ultimate Fighter return to Las Vegas for a second chance in the competition. At stake is the biggest prize in the show's history, $250,000.

Redemption
The "Redemption" series was officially announced by the UFC on January 15, 2017 during the UFC Fight Night: Rodríguez vs. Penn broadcast. Current UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt will be coaching opposite former champion T.J. Dillashaw. Both of them are former training partners. As the twenty-fifth season of the American entries of the series, the producers have opted to bring back previous participants from the previous seasons.

For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
