Realising that they've not washed their clothes since 1981, the housemates head to the laundrette. However, Neil's forgotten to tell them that they're expected on University Challenge.

Cash
No one has any money, so - under Mike's instruction - Vyvyan begins stealing and chopping up everyone's possessions for firewood. When Vyvyan claims to be pregnant, Neil is forced to get a job, and joins the police!

Nasty
In a graveside flashback, Vyvyan, Neil, Rick and Mike recount a night of terror as they encountered a vampire whilst attempting to connect up a VCR to watch some video nasties.

Sick
Everyone is sick. Neil begins projectile sneezing before suddenly remembering that his parents are coming for dinner. Their arrival sparks a discussion about The Good Life, and the housemates decide to attempt self-sufficiency.

Time
Rick wakes up with a woman in his bed and begins bragging of his sexual exploits. Unfortunately, she happens to be a serial killer. There's yet more to deal with when the house is transported back in time.

Summer Holiday
Summer term has ended. Rick has discovered his parents are dead. The group are evicted from the house, and have come bottom of the world in their exams. What else is there to do but rob a bank and flee?
