A massive winter storm unleashed mayhem on the roads in the Midwest with dangerous snow and ice in states including Missouri and Kansas. Now blizzard conditions are threatening the East Coast. The biggest stars in film and TV gathered for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards with a night of firsts including a best supporting actress win for Zoe Saldaña and a standout victory speech from Demi Moore marking her career comeback. Both the rules and security have been tightened following the violence that erupted over Trump's election loss in 2020. NBC's Ryan Nobles reports for TODAY. Authorities say the man who rammed a truck into a crowd on Bourbon street on New Year's Day used smart glasses to record the area before the massacre. Meanwhile, questions are mounting about the city's ability to safely host the Super Bowl in February. NBC's Jesse Kirsch reports for TODAY.
