Total Blackout - Season 1
Season 1
Episodes
Entering the Darkness
Four competitors try to put their fears and phobias aside as they participate in a series of mind twisting challenges, all without their sense of sight in the pitch black. In this premiere episode, contestants must use their hands, tongues, and noses to successfully identify a variety of truly innocent and surprising items in total darkness. The player with the most refined palate will be the one to touch, taste and sniff their way to $5,000.
2 Heads Are Blinder Than 1
In this special episode, couples will compete through three challenges in the pitch black for a winner-take-all cash prize. In the dark, teams must battle their wild imaginations and identify an array of items in different tanks and race across a platform that is deceivingly difficult to cross. The final two teams must overcome their fear of the unknown and navigate a maze with critters perched on their heads. The winning team will conquer their minds - and the dark - to go home with $5,000.
Touch, Sniff, & Transfer
Four competitors put their will to the test, as they are forced to strip down to a single sense in each game of this episode while also competing in the pitch black. First, players must identify items using only their hands to touch, then sniff out and identify cringe-worthy items with only their nose. The last two remaining must compete in a race against time while trying not to wake up a deceivingly scary critter!
Good with Your Hands, Good with Your Nose
Four competitors will be put through the ringer in three challenges testing very different skills in the pitch black darkness, including: identifying and arranging real-life creatures according to the food chain, identifying some truly pungent aromas from very unusual places, and searching for a specific item in a very confined space. The winner will conquer all of these challenges and come out from the dark $5,000 richer.
Lick, Limbo, Lather & Repeat
Four competitors are about to come face to face with the pitch black, as they lick, limbo and lather their way closer to winning the $5,000 grand prize. First, they'll need to identify items using only their mouth to taste, then literally dance their way around a dangerously electrifying rhythm. The finalists will overcome their fears and bathe in a tub with things that just might make their skin crawl.
Buddy System
In another special team's edition episode, contestants will battle one another in spine-chilling games that involve coffins, pitfalls, and poison.
Fear Is Served
In absolute darkness, surviving through three challenges, our contestants must serve dinner to carnivorous creatures, fondle things of all shapes and sizes, and put to rest their harrowing arachnophobia.
Jump Around
In this episode, four daring contestants must overcome their shared fear of the dark and compete in a series of challenges in the pitch black to win the $5,000 cash prize. Players will need to navigate the dark and avoid an obstruction that's sure to be stimulating, identify bizarre items in a bath, and risk their limbs reaching into some dangerous (and not so dangerous) tanks.

Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).

Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
