Wow Wales! are on a mission to celebrate the very best of the place - so that means awards for everything you can possibly imagine in Wales! Wyn (Mike Bubbins) and Charlotte (Mari Beard) believe you can't have too many awards even if that means four gongs for Best Welsh Beach – North, South, West and East –(East!?!?!?!) CEO Elaine (Sally Phillips) is thrilled to have bagged a VIP to present the awards - none other than national treasure Jason Mohammad. But that doesn't mean the TV pro will go easy on Elaine when he grills her on BBC Wales in the run-up to the event. For a confidence boost, Elaine visits Meinir (Sian Harries) in her spa to harness the positive power of Welsh crystals. And to win over her awards audience, Elaine performs a poem in Welsh. After Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donny "Fitz" Fitzpatrick digs too deeply into a local politician's nefarious activity, he is exiled to work in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (the French Territory nestled in the Atlantic Ocean just off the coast of Newfoundland). Although the islands seem like a quaint tourist destination, the idyllic façade conceals the worst kind of criminal activity which tend to wash up on its beautiful shores. At first at odds and suspicious of each other, Arch and Fitz soon discover that they are better together... a veritable crime-fighting force.
