From foxes and herons to badgers and red squirrels, Iolo Williams discovers amazing wildlife in our towns.

Iolo comes across bats, a noisy robin and alien toads in Welsh towns.
Episode 3
Iolo Williams continues his quest for wildlife in Welsh towns. This time, he finds foxes, badgers and otters roaming during the night. In Wrexham, badgers are visiting a housing estate and they take an occasional vegetable from the gardens. In Haverfordwest, foxes are using a path through a church yard to access the town and they look for food near rubbish bins in Carmarthen.
Episode 4
This time, Iolo finds thousands of birds flying to town to spend the night. On Cardiff's busiest street, wagtails are keeping warm above shoppers. A huge flock of jackdaws assemble at the end of the day on a Llanelli industrial estate. There's an amazing aerial display by starlings around Aberystwyth pier.
Episode 5
This time, Iolo discovers rats in Llanelli and catches mice in Bala. In Merthyr Tydfil, a grey wagtail has built a nest in a cage above the Taff. In Carmarthen and Llandudno, gulls are taking advantage of life on the street. And in Gorseinon and Dolgellau, beautiful and rare birds visit gardens.
Episode 6
In the last in the series, Iolo Williams looks for town wildlife all over Wales. In a Pontypool garage he comes across a false widow spider which can sometimes give a nasty bite. Mice have made a home in a garage in Colwyn Bay and a hedgehog visits a garden for his nightly supper in Deri in the Darran Valley.

Amandaland
Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.
Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).
With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
Poppa's House
Poppa's House revolves around a legendary talk radio host and happily divorced "Poppa" who has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son, a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband.
