Having fought over control of the thermostat, Dorothy bets Robert that she can sneak her way into his strictly gentlemen-only club and stay for 3 hours undetected. Predictably, neither party are likely to play fair. The game's afoot.
The Clergy
After promising an unloved dressing table to the Vicar's Scout group, Dorothy is alarmed to discover it's actually an antique worth at least £300, and they merely intend it for firewood! Soon the Vicar, Priest and Baptist Minister are knocking at the door.
The Salesman
A salesman calls at the McNab residence hoping to offload a set of encyclopaedia volumes. It quickly becomes apparent that he has the most peculiar manner of any salesman either Dorothy or Robert have ever encountered!
The Visiting Scots
Doroth's accountant, a Mr. Campbell, pays his yearly visit. It's invariably a stressful occasion for all concerned, but this time she and Robert are adamant that the books are in order. It's just at that point that some distant Scottish relatives arrive uninvited...
The Silence
Having disagreed in strong terms about new tiling for the kitchen in Robert's flat, Dorothy and he both engage in the silent treatment. However, with his duties as a butler still to perform, and her due to host a reception later that evening, it's not long before they're struggling to maintain a frosty distance.
