Defeat Gomess!
When tunnel excavation work ensues near Mt. Konpo for the new Tokai Super-Expressway project, a large, strange stone is found. After a worker claims to have seen a huge monster, a young scholar recalls the legend of Gomess, a fearsome beast, and a phoenix-like bird, Litra. When Yuriko and Jun get trapped in the caverns, they hear a rhythmic beating from the stone and discover the legendary Gomess.
Goro and Goroh
When zoologists look into a giant monkey reported to be swinging from cables in the Amagi mountains, it leads to the Wild Monkey Research Institute. They find that a mute custodian named Goro had fed a spider monkey Aoba Walnuts preserved with Aoba Potion. This experimental hormone causes gigantism if taken in high doses. Big "Goro" then comes up with a plan to find his missing friend.
The Gift from Space
While investigating an undersea volcanic eruption, Jun and Yuriko witness the splashdown of a Mars Exploration Probe. Recovered by the Space Development Agency, they find strange images and two golden spheres inside the capsule. They jokingly conclude intelligent beings on Mars returned the capsules and gifted them the spheres, but after a thief steals them, a monster named Namegon is unleashed.
Mammoth Flower
In Tokyo, a huge thorny plant breaks through the streets of Tokyo's business district and sub basements and feeds off of what it catches. It pushes into the roof of the Mainichi Shimpo News offices, where its poisonous flower blooms. Professor Ichinotani believes this plant, Juran, has revived due to man-made environmental changes and seek to destroy it, but Professor Genda wants to study it.
Peguila is Here!
Jun travels to Antarctica to look into the disappearance of Nomura, a Japanese Antarctic Winter Party member whose last message is, "Peguila is here." They find Nomura's body and his dog, Saburo, who survived by eating native moss. The team finds that moss contains Peguimin H, a poisonous substance for Peguila. As the monster approaches their outpost, they launch a Peguimin H rocket.
Grow Up! Little Turtle
Taro is a schoolboy known for his tall tales. His newest claim? That his pet turtle Gameron will grow big enough for him to ride on and take him to an underwater castle. But when he reports a bank robbery, no one believes him. The robbers then kidnap him until Gameron grows and scares them into turning themselves in. Taro rides Gameron to the castle, where princess Otohime chides him for lying.
S.O.S. Mount Fuji
Mt. Fuji threatens to erupt after hundreds of years of dormancy. lppei accompanies Yuriko on an assignment to investigate the danger, but is stymied when the local constable fails to get citizens to take the danger seriously. Increased volcanic activity causes a huge boulder to be expelled from the bottom of Lake Yoshino, but the stone proves to be not a mere rock, but a living monster, Gorgos.
Terror of the Sweet Honey
Scientists start researching some bees used to produce a potent super Royal Jelly called "Honey Jellion." If Consumed in concentrated form, the side effect is gigantism. One day, a researcher finds that someone broke into his greenhouse and destroyed the larvae. The perpetrator is a rival who has his mole, Mongula, feed on the insect remains. It grows and threatens to wreak havoc on the area.
Baron Spider
Jun, lppei, Yuriko and friends get lost in a thick fog driving back from a party. In need of shelter, they find an abandoned mansion in the middle of the swamplands. This reminds Jun of a story of a Baron who was obsessed with spiders and went mad when his daughter went missing in the swamp after a poisonous tarantula bit her. According to legend, she and her father turned into Giant Spiders.
The Underground Super Express Goes West
Set to cover the inaugural run of the advanced Tokyo-Osaka-Nagasaki Super Express train, Yuriko smuggles lppei along as her photographer. Unfortunately, instead of camera equipment, lppei grabs the wrong case from the office. Inside is a special compression unit containing an artificial life form, M1, that was to be transported to an Osaka lab, which ends up causing some trouble.
Balloonga
Disaster strikes when the first manned spacecraft surveying Saturn crashes off Japan's coast. As Jun and Yuriko fly over the area, they run low on fuel and return to find a strange, floating blob. It expands, destroying their car and injuring Ippei. Hovering over Tokyo, it absorbs all kinds of energy. Professor Naramaru's suggests the UN launches a satellite to lure Balloonga into space.
I Saw a Bird
The police investigate a zoo where the cages were ripped open and find the zookeeper holding feathers and saying, "I saw a bird!" Meanwhile, Jun, Yuriko, and Ippei look into a strange ship. They find a bird but suddenly, the ship begins to sink and the bird goes to Saburo. At night, the bird he names Kuro flies out. Professor Ichinotani identifies it as Larugeus, a bird thought to be extinct.
Garadama
A school boy, Mamoru, sees and retrieves a small meteorite, which coincides with another falling into the Libyan Desert. When they begin to emit signals into space, Professor Ichinotani starts to look into the object that fell in Japan, nicknamed Garadama. Then another giant meteorite crashes into the dam reservoir, scattering boats and evaporating the entire lake, and revealing a strange monster.
Tokyo Ice Age
On a summer day, a plane landing at Haneda Airport suddenly freezes in the air and drops to the tarmac. As emergency vehicles respond, the airport begins to freeze over. After a nuclear reactor explodes near the South Pole, Jun postulates that Peguila may be migrating to the North Pole. Suddenly, the monster lands in the middle of the city and begins to turn the metropolis into a frozen wasteland.
Kanegon's Cocoon
Some boys gather to trade items, but bulldozers destroy their area. Kaneo finds a cocoon jingling like coins, but his parents say if he only thinks of money, he'll turn into Kanegon, a creature that eats money. The cocoon grows and when he climbs inside, he turns into Kanegon. A Shinto Priestess who tells his friends a bearded old man must do a somersault and land on his head to come back.
Garamon Strikes Back
One night, a strange man dressed in black steals the sample of Tilsonite stored in the vaults of the Astrophysics Research Center. Professor Ichinotani alerts Yuriko, Jun, and Ippei of the theft, and that the "Electronic Brain" has started transmitting radio waves into space. Scientists detect a cluster of Garadamas heading to Earth, with Tokyo as their target.
The 1/8 Project
After Yuriko falls during a crowded rush hour at one of Tokyo's train stations, she, Jun, and Ippei stop to rest. The people seem to be going to the 1/8 Plan: Section S-13 Application Center. Yuriko asks the others to wait, as she smells a newsworthy story. However, she is processed into the new program that shrinks humans due to overpopulation. When she awakens, she realizes she has shrunk.
The Rainbow's Egg
Strange weather and a golden rainbow occur after a white bamboo flower blossoms. Some say when the flower comes together with the Rainbow's Egg, wishes will come true. Not far from a construction site, the monster Pagos emerges and attacks a truck carrying a spherical uranium capsule. Jun, Yuriko, and Ippei investigate the disaster and meet children chasing the rainbow to find the legendary egg.
Challenge from the Year 2020
People start disappearing because of a strange liquid and it's described in a novel: "Challenge from the Year 2020," written by a missing doctor. Professor Kanda insists it to be a true account via his invention, the X Channel Light Wave. Coming from the year 2020 through time-space, the Kemur, an alien race, seeks the organs of humans, transporting them via a catalyst liquid to their world.
The Undersea Humanoid Ragon
Yuriko covers the story of an underwater volcano near Iwane Island that may cause the Japanese archipelago to sink. After the volcanic eruption, fisherman find an unexplained gelatin-type object which was accidentally left behind by someone (or something). A series of attacks causes Ishii to conclude that the strange object is an egg that belongs to a prehistoric humanoid, the Ragon.
Space Directive M774
After sightings of a monster in Lake Kitayama, the SSSP investigates. Professor Nakayama, secretly grew the beast which now dwells at the lake's bottom. In a stunning turn of events, it is discovered that the doctor is not who he claims to be. He threatens to feed Kubo and Ide to his monster, but is instead trampled by his own creation. Ultraman defeats the monster with Ultra Slash.
Metamorphosis
It all began on a summer night aboard a cruise ship with Jun and Ippei. Yuriko first sees a UFO, then finds a strange doll on deck. The doll identifies herself as Zerni, a member of an alien race, and reveals that a violent monster's egg has fallen into the sea. Jun and Ippei don't believe Yuriko until they speak with Zerni themselves. Zerni explains that the monster must be hunted down.
Fury of the South Sea
Large footprint sightings in the Tateshina Highlands trigger stories and prompt news reporters to come to the area. Yuriko, however, is not given an assignment. Yuriko learns from an old friend, Ayako, that a rare, Amazonian butterfly called Morpho Menelaus can be found in the area. Ayako's fiancé, Koji, became poisoned by a giant butterfly and later turned into a giant monster.
The Idol of Goga
The "Sea of Death" causes five separate ship disasters. A giant octopus consumes a Japanese fishing vessel and sends the crew to their deaths. Sudar, Jun and Ippei find out that Minami, Yuzo and Anita are about to be executed for blaspheming the monster. At the last minute, they are saved when the beast's lair is destroyed by aerial bombing. The wounded beast lashes out at the village.
The Devil Child
A 6,000 year-old Statue of Goga is given to the people of Japan as a gift from the Nation of Abu. The statue is soon abducted by a mysterious stranger who also abducts the Ambassador's daughter, Tami. Yuriko, Ippei and Jun investigate and learn that the Statue of Goga is cursed against vice. During a radiological examination of the statue, it bursts open and releases Goga itself!
