16 year old Carly is six months into a difficult pregnancy and struggling to see light at the end of the tunnel. With a history of miscarriage and still born in the family she is worried for the safety of her child; on top of that her already troubled relationship with her younger brother is getting worse by the day so she's decided to go it alone and move out. Her 34 year old mum Mandy is desperate to help her daughter, but is her protective nature only helping to drive Carly away?

Mollie from Bristol is 15 years old and five months pregnant. Wilful from an early age Mollie got kicked out of school at the age of 14 and just months later fell pregnant to her 15 year old boyfriend. The news devastated her family and pushed her already stormy relationship with 17 year old sister Izzi to the brink of collapse. Only time will tell if midwife mum - Jo's dream will come true: that the baby will bring this waring family back together.
