The Race (aka The Contest)
Vickie, the son of the chieftain Halvar, is small and timid. When the Vikings are making preparations for their next sea expedition Halvar allows his son to sail with them, but only an one condition: Vickie must beat him at carrying stones. Nobody believes that Vicky will win the competition. However, with much cunning he does.

The Trap
Although Vicky has his father's permission to participate in the expedition, he must smuggle himself aboard as a stowaway in a barrel. Since he abhors violence of any kind, nobody has any confidence in him. When the Vikings invade a town and get captured it is Vicky who helps them out of their difficult Situation.

Imprisoned
The Vikings are being held in prison and do not know how they will pet out of this scrape. Using a trick, Vicky finally gets a swordfish from off the ship. With this fish they saw a hole in the door of the prison and escape. However, that is not the end of the Vikings' problems. But Vicky is there to solve them, too.

The Sleepless Night
Snorre, a member of the Viking crew, has a terrible tooth ache which makes him unusually violent. However, just before the shins of the wild Sven appear on the horizon Vicky succeeds in relieving poor Snorre's pain.

Sven the Terrible
Sven is a dangerous adventurer. He attacks Viking ships laden with rich treasures. This time he pursues Halvar's ship and it looks as if he will make a good catch. But just in time Vicky succeeds in putting Sven's ships out of action by setting fire to their sails.

Tax Dodgers
Laden with booty the Viking ships sail towards home. Halvar is in a bad mood: he must pay heavy custom duties to the Danes and what's more Sven is on his tail. Vicky cooks up a plan to hoodwink the Danish customs and direct their attention.

The Wolfhunters
Back in Flake the Vikings distribute their booty. Vicky is to get his share, too, but he offers it as a prize for the winner in the competition of catching wolves. The competition commences in the morning and by evening there is not one single wolf in the woods surrounding Flake. Did Vicky follow any definite intentions by suggesting this?

Sven Strikes Back
When Sven one day takes Flake by surprise and the whole village turns chaotic, an idea occurs to Vicky of how to overcome Sven: he lets the wolves loose.

The Land of Seals
The village children build themselves a raft on which they sail to the Island of the seals. Vicky is not very happy about this idea, but nevertheless he accompanies them. During this excursion there are all kinds of misunderstandings and much excitement. But in the end Vicky makes friends with the seals.

The Promise
Vicky promises Ylvi to bring her to the big celebrations taking place in the neighboring village. But then Vickiy has to participate in an expedition: the Vikings intend attacking a Dutch ship.

The Red-eyed Giants
One day Vicky and Ylvi find Snorre exhausted on the beach near the village. He tells them that the Vikings have been taken prisoner in England and that he was the only one who managed to escape. Now he wants to fetch help for the crew in distress. Vicky has the inhabitants of the village construct wooden weapons. Together with Snorre he sets sail for England.

The Rescue
After Snorre and Vicky have landed in England to liberate the Vikings, they meet the chieftain of the red-eyed clients. During this conference Snorre manages to exchange the weapons of the fearsome warrior with the wooden weapons they have brought along. Then Snorre and Vicky liberate their fellow countrymen hut get mixed up in a fight.

The Enchanted Sword
On the Way back home from England the Vikings are surrounded by Sverker and his followers. The big and strong Sverker who possesses a marvelous sword male by dwarves was reputed to be unconquerable. In spite of his fear Vicky tries to outwit Sverker. Finally Sverkers sword breaks into pieces and he hits his head against a rock. From this moment on he gladly co-operates with the Vikings.

The Magnificent Castle
The Vikings have set it in their heads to attack a castle in Franconia and are not deterred by Vicky's admonitions. But during the attack they are taken prisoner. Faxe, Ulme and Urobe manage to escape and return to the ship to ask Vicky's help. A celebration in the castle sparks off Vicky's idea of offering his services as kitchen boy in order to gain access to the castle.

Practical Jokers
Vicky enters the Service of the Franconia as kitchen boy. The preparations for the great celebration are in full swing. When Vicky hears that a proud of inkers has arrived, he sees his chance: he locks the group in a store room and takes their clothes. The Vikings escape disguised as court jesters.

Water Warfare
The tax collector arrives at Flake with a heavily armed entourage. His power is so great that the Vikings can do nothing with their small weapons. Then Vicky has an idea of using the water pipes which were laid in the village against the invaders. The results of this surprise teach the tax collector a lesson and so a beaten man he leaves the village with his troops.

Fighting Fire
A huge fire has broken out in Flake, the whole village is in danger. The Vikings don't know what to do. Vicky remembers a trick from earlier, he assembles the water pipes and extinguishes the fire. From now on Flake even has its own fire brigade.

The Winged Messenger
Vicky and Ylvi have taken to a new past-time: training pigeons. Halvar does not think much of this hobby, it's not masculine enough for him. But for Vicky these new experiences soon take an a great significance. When Gilby and Ylvi go out to sea in a boat, they get into difficulties. Thanks to the pigeons Vicky is able to come to their help with the seals.
