The Cromers, with their amusement arcades, nightclubs and caravan park, are prospering. Both believe they know what's best for Westbeach. But between Sarah Preston and Alan Cromer the battle seems more personal than business.

Rain or Shines
Simon Cromer is back from Europe, with worrying news for Alan and Maggie. Meanwhile, Alan and Sarah make different plans for the site of the old holiday camp. And Hugo finds a new job.

A group of actors moves into Florrie's boarding house, bringing Jan a dose of romance. Meanwhile, Bill comes across a job opportunity with a difference.

Iris and Florrie decide to take life by the horns and live it up at the end of the pier. Meanwhile, Alan and Sarah confront their past.

It's the day of decision for the planning committee. Will Sarah get her covered leisure centre, or Alan his recycling plant?
