Conclusion. Val literally wakes up to the realization that she and Vic got hitched while they were drunk. Meanwhile, Holly is stowed away in the backseat of Vince's car and heading to Florida

Surprise
Val tries to persuade Vic to sign papers to annul their marriage, but he refuses to do so; and Holly returns home from Florida and worries when she doesn't immediately hear from Vince.

The Redo
Holly is hurt that Vince takes Gary to a Knicks game instead of her; and Val finds herself growing more attracted to Vic (Dan Cortese), especially when he helps in the bakery remodeling.

I've Got a Secret
Tina reveals to Holly that she kissed Gary in an impulsive moment and asks her not to tell anyone, but Holly figures that Vince is an exception, and she breaks the confidence.

The Perfect Date (1)
In Part 1 of a two-part episode, Jason Priestley plays a man who asks Val on a date, which she sees as a perfect way to distance herself from Vic; and Holly and Vince have a fight over jealousy.

Halloween (2)
Conclusion. On Halloween, Val's hand gets stuck in the toilet just as Charlie, whom she realizes is crazy, arrives with a surprise. Meanwhile, Holly thinks it's time for her and Vince to take the next big step in their relationship

Someone's in the Kitchen with Daddy
Holly and Val's judgmental dad (Barry Bostwick) is coming from Japan to visit them, and Val tries to get rid of Vic while Holly warns Vince not to mention that she dropped out of college.

Jazz Night
Val asks Vic out on a date for the bakery's first Jazz Night. But he backs out when he realizes it's just a one-night deal for her, and then shocks her with an announcement that makes her confront her feelings for him.

Ground-Turkey-Hog Day
Thanksgiving brings havoc, thanks to Vic's old flame, who heightens the tension with Val at a group dinner that also reveals Lauren's secret. It concerns the identity of her online lover, the "married poker man."

For Love or Money
Val and Lauren restart a spat over Rick and his role in their love lives; Holly and Vince spar over their salary disparities and a Caribbean trip she intends to pay for. As Vince tells Gary, "I tried to be cool, but I can't be a kept man."

Coming Home
Holly suspects Vince's current boss (and former flame) is trying to steal him away, and her interference causes Vince to lose his job. Meanwhile, Val comes to terms with her feelings for Vic when he comes home after an injury on the job

Desperate Girlfriends
Lauren lies about a surprise party for Valerie so she can see Rick, but the truth comes out when the affair lands Rick in the hospital, and Val cannot forgive her friend for the deceit. Meanwhile, Vic has a special gift for Val, but has trouble finding the perfect time to give it to her.

The Other Women
Valerie tries to make a good first impression on Vic's mother, who already has formed an unflattering opinion of her new daughter-in-law and refuses to change her mind. Elsewhere, Robyn steps up her efforts to seduce a clueless Vince.

Your Money Or Your Wife
Tina and Gary scheme to reunite Holly and Vince, but Robyn has plans to keep them apart. Meanwhile, Valerie runs afoul of Vic's firemen "brothers" and is upset when Vic sides with them instead of her.

Garden State
Vic and Val learn their quickie wedding wasn't official, so they decide to get married right away, but a mandatory 24-hour waiting period threatens to end things before they even get started. Meanwhile, Holly and Vince pretend they have gotten over each other, preventing them from reconciling.

Friends and Lovers
Holly keeps interrupting Vic and Val's alone time, so Lauren agrees to keep her company---with disastrous results. Elsewhere, Vince asks Gary for advice, and thinks he finally has a solution to his problem with Holly.

Now and Zen
Lauren treats the girls to a day at the spa to relax before the wedding, which they sorely need when Val learns her nuptials will have a sci-fi theme and Holly loses Vince's bracelet.

Finally
In the series finale, Val and Holly try to leave the spa in time for the wedding, but get stranded along the way and end up fighting. Meanwhile, Vince says his final good-bye to Gary before leaving for Chicago.
