Worst Cooks in America - Season 15
Season 15
Episodes
The Perfect Bird
Fifteen of the worst cooks in America enter boot camp with dreams of putting their kitchen nightmares behind them. Chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence want to see what they're dealing with so they begin by asking the recruits to make their signature dishes -- a request with truly disastrous consequences! After being sorted into teams, the recruits must flock together like birds of a feather to make the perfect chicken dish. The recruits whose dishes don't fly will be sent home.
Eggtastic
The remaining recruits enter boot camp to find it has been transformed into a casino complete with a game of Egg Roulette. The chefs will teach their recruits a pancake recipe and ask them to recreate it before finding themselves traveling across the pond for an English-breakfast-inspired challenge. The chefs will then separate the good eggs from the bad ones before sending home each team's least successful recruit.
Cowboy Cuisine
The recruits enter boot camp and discover they will be going back to the basics with meat-and-potatoes challenges. First, they learn that cooking is about more than just taste in a Skill Drill that tests all five of their senses. Next, the chefs ask the recruits to create their own potato hash dish. Finally, the recruits must make a meat-based dish fit for a cowboy in the main dish challenge. Those who can hold onto their horses will continue on in boot camp while the others are sent home.
Meat Me at the Game
The recruits must put on their game faces because it's time for Game Day! First, the teams go head-to-head in a potato sack relay race to collect ingredients for game-day meatballs. They must then make their very own meatballs fit for tailgating. For the main dish challenge, the recruits learn how to make the perfect game-day sandwich and side dish. Those who score big will be named kitchen MVPs -- those who fumble may be cut from their teams!
Spice Up Your Life
The recruits begin by getting up-close and personal with their spice cabinets in a Skill Drill game that requires the teams to identify various commonly used spices. Next, they must make their very own spice rubs in hopes of impressing the chefs. For the main dish challenge, the chefs teach their recruits how to make an Indian-inspired curry dish. The recruits who can't master their spices will be asked to leave boot camp.
Carnival Chaos
After finding that boot camp has been turned into a carnival, the recruits are asked to participate in a pie-eating contest for the chance to dunk their opponent's chef. Next, the recruits must make their very own carnival churros tasty enough to impress Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence. For the main dish challenge, the recruits must make good old-fashioned American pies with ice cream and whatever fruit they want.
Aloha, Recruits!
The recruits begin by embarking on a treasure hunt fit for a pirate when their teams are tasked with discovering clues left for them by pirate captains Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence. Then, the recruits are asked to make poke bowls fit for a swashbuckler before the main dish challenge that converts boot camp into a Hawaiian luau complete with fire dancers. Those who can summon the spirit of the islands with their Hawaiian-inspired dishes will sail toward the finale while the rest must say "aloha" to boot camp.
In It to Win It
It's the penultimate week of boot camp and if the remaining recruits want a spot in the finale, they must first work in teams to play Remote Control Chef. For the main dish challenge, the recruits must prove they are finale ready by recreating the finale dishes of past Worst Cooks finalists. After tasting, Chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence will each pick the recruit they will be taking with them to the finale.
The Day We've Been Waiting For
The final two recruits begin with one last Skill Drill before Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence give them the opportunity to pick any dish they'd like to learn in a private lesson. The recruits then learn a three-course, restaurant-quality meal before the Main Dish Challenge where all their newly learned culinary skills are put to the test. Judges Debi Mazar, Michael Psilakis and Jessica Tom take the recruits' dishes into a blind taste test to determine who will win the $25,000 grand prize.
