Match #1: Kofi Kinston, Primo Colon & MVP vs The Big Show, Carlito & Jack Swagger Match #2: Jerry "The King" Lawler vs THE Brian Kendrick. Match #3: Mark Henry vs Chris Jericho Match #4: Sharp Dressed Man Match (Tuxedo Match): Hornswoggle vs Chavo Guerrero Match #5: Gail Kim & Kelly Kelly vs Alicia Fox & Rosa Mendes Match #6: Triple H & John Cena vs Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. John Cena comes to the ring and talks about ZZ Top being the guest host for tonight and the match at Night of Champions. That brings out Randy Orton. Orton says the last time the triple threat happened he won, but Cena interrupts him saying he's not listening, he's too caught up in the crown and the guest hosts, but he thinks the crowd wants to see him pound Orton's face into mush. Orton teases the he'll fight, but leaves long enough for Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase to surround Cena. Before they get in the ring Triple H comes down and Legacy leaves. Triple H asks if Orton and the girls are leaving already, then says the he's at a point in his career that he doesn't care if he doesn't win on Sunday, he doesn't even care if Cena wins, what he does care about is the Orton doesn't win. Orton demands to be in the tag match. Cena & Triple H tease that there is no good reason to fight them because they would self destruct, but they accept. ZZ Top are in the back getting ready to play when Santino Marella arrives to bother them. Dusty Hill makes Santino and honorary member by giving him a beard, hat & sunglasses. Match #1: Kofi Kingston, Primo Colon & MVP vs Jack Swagger, Carlito & The Big Show. Primo pins Carlito. More with ZZ Top, this time Chris Jericho interrupts. He wants to know if they like his band Fozzy. They've never heard of Fozzy, but they put him in a match with Mark Henry. THE Brian Kendrick is bothering Lawler & Cole about wanting to be Jericho's partner at Night of Champions. Lawler tells him that he needs to get in the ring. Kendrick the gets on the mic and tells Lawler he was a former tag champ and that's more titles then Lawler ever held in the WWE. Kedrick gets in the ring, but before his opponent can be announced, Jerry Lawler gets in the ring and announces himself as Kendrick's opponent. Match #2: Jerry "The King" Lawler vs THE Brian Kendrick. Lawler pins Kendrick. Josh Matthews interviews Mickie James. The Miz comes out to annoy her and let Maryse attack her from behind. Match #3: Mark Henry vs Chris Jericho. Henry wins via DQ. Back with ZZ Top, Chavo Guerrero comes in and says he should be treated with respect, not wrestling a leprechaun. They agree, but give him a match with Hornswoggle anyway and it will be a Tuxedo Match/Sharp Dressed Man Match. Match #4: Sharp Dressed Man Match: Hornswoggle vs Chavo Guerrero. (Chavo's pants were sewn together) Hornswoggle wins. Cena & H talk about what he said about the match tonight and Night of Champions. More with ZZ Top, this time Kelly Kelly arrives. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase mock Chris Jericho. Lawler & Cole announce that Shaquille O'Neal will be the guest host next week. Match #5: Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim vs Rosa Mendes & Alicia Fox. Alicia pins Kelly. ZZ Top appear at ringside. Match #6: Triple H & John Cena vs Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. Cena pins Orton.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
