1970
In this new series, BBC Wales presenter Wynne Evans delves into the BBC Wales archives of the 1970s with his dog Ginny. Beginning with 1970 itself, highlights include Mary Hopkin at the Eurovision Song Contest, a novelist who shares her home with farm animals and some surprisingly familiar tales of strikes, petrol price rises and power cuts.
On the sporting field we see Tony Cordle hit the winning runs for Glamorgan at St Helens in Swansea. There's shocking footage of the fire on the historic Britannia Bridge over the Menai Straits. And the end of an era for Cardiff's trolley buses. Remember them?

1971

A female private eye swaps her trench coat for a beauty contest bikini, there's a Christmas baby competition in Neath and Eartha Kitt reveals the heartache of being abandoned as a baby.
New filming technology opens the skies to aerial photography, and we went decimal - which confused some and delighted others. Ginny picks up some tips from a dog training class and Wynne shares film of his family's passion for caravanning – in the snow.

Two Tonne Tessie from Cardiff heads the bill, along with Nerys Hughes in The Liver Birds ,and a serious Tommy Cooper on how his act going wrong gave him an idea for success. We meet a man with a hippy problem, Tibetan farmers in Brecon and Wynne's family go caravanning – in a field.

Radio Wales presenter Wynne Evans and his dog Ginny, look through the BBC Wales archive to enjoy the way we were in 1973. Highlights include Dr Who at a local mine, following the steam train up Yr Wyddfa and the opening of a new hotel for dogs.
Music from Sir Geraint Evans, Ryan and Ronnie release a record, and Dave Edmonds shows us his recording techniques at Rockfield. Wynne's family archive is from his gran's caravan in Carmarthenshire.

Shirley Bassey opens her show from a fighter jet, and we meet the Welsh stars of It Ain't Half Hot Mum - Windsor Davies and Don Estelle. A man is giving away one pound notes in Cardiff, kids reveal their favourite books, and in south Wales, there's a couple who've turned volcanic rock into pipes.
Wynne enjoys family archives from the Carmarthen carnival, and maybe you were in one of the featured valleys marching bands?

1975
Wynne looks back at 1975 and some of the more unusual news stories of that year, including a communal loo in Newtown, a man on a bed of nails and a horse whisperer. There's plenty of nostalgic fare with Carmarthen's coracle fishermen, Welsh cakes and a harp-making community.
The Old Grey Whistle Test - bastion of the cool music scene - features well-known south Wales band Sassafras, and there's a comedy flashback from The Goodies. Local people make their predictions for the year ahead and share their struggle with the introduction of new European measurements.

1976
Radio Wales presenter Wynne Evans and his dog Ginny enjoy BBC Wales's archive of 1976. Highlights include Wales winning the Triple Crown during the hottest summer for over 350 years.
Gert reveals her secrets to a good chimney sweep, while Racing Cars had their first and only hit. Hippies start a music festival in the Cambrian hills, and Ginny learns about the most popular dog breed at the Royal Welsh Show. Wynne is concerned about rising youth unemployment and shares film of his holidays with grandma at Pendine Sands.

1977
Radio Wales presenter Wynne Evans and his dog Ginny enjoy BBC Wales's archive of 1977. Highlights include Richard Burton visiting his home town, Dorothy Squires organising her own tour - and introducing Mistar Urdd.
Welsh cooking comes under the spotlight, we celebrate the Laura Ashley brand and meet some local councillors who sing. Wynne tries to encourage Ginny in the One Man and His Dog finals while there's a singles club in Swansea that is born from the loneliness of divorce.
Punks were a thing and so was the Breton-Cymru festival celebrating more traditional music and dance.

1978
Join Radio Wales's Wynne Evans remembering the wet summer of 1978, the start of Radio Wales and Ray Reardon's World Snooker Championship win.
Highlights include the weird and wonderful dancing potatoes, cowboys in mid-Wales, and outer space with Blake's 7. We meet a seal-hugging police officer, activist Betty Campbell in Tiger Bay and Shakin' Stevens in colour.

1979
Join Radio Wales's Wynne Evans as he looks back at the TV of 1979. A year of protests, Come Dancing and Bonnie Tyler. Highlights include UFO spotting in mid Wales and swim therapy, and Wynne remembers drag racing in a field. Ginny sleeps through most of it so misses the farmer who gives up his cows and a communist mayor in the Rhondda.

Doc
Doc centers on the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Larsen, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis. Using her cunning and intelligence, Thony forges her own path in the criminal underworld, doing whatever she has to to survive.

The Walking Dead: Dead City envisions the popular Maggie and Negan characters travelling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.

Shifting Gears
Shifting Gears centers on Matt, a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt's estranged daughter and her teenage kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.
