Man About the House: 50 Years of Laughs
A celebration of the 1970s sitcom, which was about a man sharing a flat with two young women, which was considered shocking at the time. The show made huge stars of its cast, including Richard O'Sullivan as Robin Tripp, a role he reprised in Robin's Nest, while the flat downstairs was home to landlords the Ropers, who would later have their own successful spin-off series George and Mildred. This programme features interviews and behind-the-scenes stories from stars Paula Wilcox, Sally Thomsett and Brian Murphy, as well as writer Brian Cooke, with contributions from Christopher Biggins, Melvyn Hayes, Robert Elms, Bobby Friction, Nina Myskow, John Aizlewood and Michael Hogan.
