Remembering his childhood dream, Akira goes into the aquarium to grab a certain item, only to run into a group of survivors running for their lives.

RV of the Dead
Akira bids farewell to Tokyo and starts the journey back to his hometown, Gunma; but first, he stops by a showroom in Saitama to get an RV.

Truck Stop of the Dead
Akira finds himself sucked back in to his old, corporate drone mindset. Seeing him in that state triggers bad memories for Shizuka

Sushi & Hot Springs of the Dead
With only a little farther to go until they reach Akira's hometown in Gunma, the gang runs into a German college student named Beatrix. Despite the zombie pandemic, she says that she is determined to make her dream come true while she's in Japan.

Treehouse of the Dead
With the only tunnel to the village sealed off, Akira and the others decide to cut through the forest and cross the mountain; along the way, they run into a man named Kumano, who is constructing a treehouse in the forest.

Hometown Of The Dead I
Together with the villagers and the people who escaped from Tokyo, Akira and his friends help each other out while enjoying a brief moment of happiness; Meanwhile, Higurashi has been preparing to take his revenge on society.
