Iván averigua, a través de una carta de su prima, toda la verdad sobre su pasado, todo lo que sus padres quisieron siempre ocultarle. También Carol ha recibido malas noticias, su madre ha sido ingresada de urgencia en el hospital. Además, se ha enterado de la peor forma: de boca de los periodistas del corazón. Dos crisis familiares que se suman a la situación de Jacinta y Miguel. Ella, tratando de adaptarse a su nuevo papel de abuela y él intentando superar la muerte de sus padres. Miguel está resentido por lo que acaba de vivir. Las investigaciones de los chicos empiezan a dar sus frutos. Pero Pedro también está harto del comportamiento de Elsa, que siempre ha jugado con él y es la culpable de su ruptura con Amelia. El profesor de deportes ya no aguanta más, está decidido a decirle a Héctor, su amigo de siempre, toda la verdad.
