The bad news is Dena and Michael Kelly have a tiny Chicago kitchen with a growing family and need a lot more space. The good news is they have two huge advantages: a dining room just on the other side of the wall and Alison Victoria crashing the house to completely renovate this kitchen. From the floor to the ceiling, this kitchen gets a complete makeover in just three days with such unique features as a magnetic wall treatment and a refrigerator/freezer drawer system.

Alison takes on a super-sized kitchen and brings the countertops, cabinets and appliances down to standard height. A small stage built underneath the existing kitchen is removed, a wall is opened up and a window is covered to make this kitchen functional, stylish and open. Dark espresso cabinetry with frosted doors tie into a unique bubbled glass island that appears to be 'floating' in the kitchen. New appliances, dark cork flooring and a silver and gold black tiled focal wall pull the room together. A lounge area with a DIY photo tree and 3D accent wall finish off the space and give this couple a place to dine, relax and entertain.

A tiny kitchen gets a new look and lease on life. Alison and the crew tear out everything from the floors to the soffits and begin again. They start with new wood floors topped with beautiful cherry cabinets. Next comes new appliances, paint, lighting and backsplash to completely update and expand this small space.

Alison Victoria translates this couple's love for color into a Spanish-themed kitchen with plenty of pop. The extremely dated and dirty kitchen is taken down to the studs to make room for a brand new layout featuring a long island with Bottocino marble countertops and an extra large plaster hood and range. Old linoleum flooring is replaced with gorgeous bamboo flooring with a walnut finish and beat up cabinets are changed out for a cream, glazed look. The ceiling is accented with easy, DIY faux beams and the butler's pantry is brought back to the 21st century with new cabinetry and a DIY tile countertop. The Spanish style is completed with a vibrant turquoise and yellow backsplash set behind a giant DIY faux finished hood and state-of-the-art range.

Alison picks the perfect spot for an urban kitchen? a rooftop four stories above the ground. The blank-slate is converted into the ultimate space to cook, entertain, relax and enjoy the city. The roof is covered with ipe wood decking and slate stone and is topped with a pergola with retractable shades. A state-of-the-art grill with stainless cabinetry along with a custom-built ipe clad bar create an area to cook while a dining table and cocktail table give the rooftop a place for entertaining. DIY planters and a DIY bamboo screen provide both privacy and style to finish off the space.

Alison goes to Boston and finds a kitchen that has stood through three generations of the same family. But it is time for a change and a big one. The crew removes two walls to open up the space and then the real renovation begins with new-engineered flooring, white cabinets and countertops and a one of a kind lighting fixture made from rope and plastic hoops. Alison re-purposes the existing dining room chairs using paint to match the new blue kitchen island. The end result is a rustic yet up to date kitchen with open views of the main living quarters of the home and young family who cannot believe how quickly and beautifully Alison and the gang totally transformed this multi-generational kitchen.

In this episode of Kitchen Crashers, host and interior designer Alison Victoria thinks outside the box when a couple's kitchen is too tiny for the crash. Alison uses the backyard to create an outdoor kitchen with all the luxuries of an indoor space. The Crashers crew pulls out of all the stops with a gourmet grill, refrigerator, sink, faucet and giant stone pizza oven. Alison gives the couple additional storage with cabinetry fitted for the outdoors and an island they'd never be able to fit in their traditional kitchen. They also add DIY swing seats, an herb garden and a log bench to finish off the design.

Kitchen Crashers host and interior designer Alison Victoria along with the Crashers crew are surprising one lucky Florida family with the kitchen of their dreams. The Ratzlaffs, winners of DIY Network and Food Network Magazine's Worst Kitchen in America contest, are having their tiny, outdated and barely functional kitchen transformed into a state-of-the-art cooking, dining and entertainment space -in just three days.

Alison Victoria perfectly blends this couple's love of art and eclectic design with their need for more storage and functionality in the kitchen. The drab lifeless kitchen with its 'surgery room' island and 'poo brown' grout is transformed into a stylishly funky kitchen with a colored range and playfully modern chevron patterned tile. Homeowners can finally enjoy the view out of their kitchen window with a smart sink relocation to the revamped island. Rich wood flooring laid in a deceptively simple chevron pattern replaces old tile flooring and the unattractive cabinets are donated and replaced with a full sized pantry and cream-colored custom cabinetry. A banquet with a DIY chevron pattern painted on it accents the theme and adds just the right art deco touch to the seating area.

Alison and the "Kitchen Crashers" crew find a family in Chicago with a love of tattoos. This couple actually met in the tattoo buisness... so... the design inspiration for these two is color, fun and an "outside the box" take on a really small space. In addition to expanding the space, this kitchen gets a new birch floor, green cabinets, new countertops, chalkboard paint, custom stools, a wacky zig zag backsplash, appliances and the crowning jewel is the "compass rose" treatment for the ceiling. The finished product is overwhelming for this couple and a one of a kind, unforgettable kitchen.

Alison has her hands full with this dirty, cluttered kitchen in desperate need for a makeover. The couple's Chinese heritage comes into play in a feng shui inspired design that not only clears the clutter, but also brings in good energy and luck to the most important room in the house. Alison starts by improving the space planning and takes out a load-bearing wall to create an area for dining and organization with a custom-built mudroom. The range, a central fixture in a feng shui kitchen, is replaced and re-located between two windows to give the kitchen balance and an aging door is changed out with a glass door and window to bring in more light. Grass cloth wallpaper, neutral colored tile and countertops and a butcher block topped island complete with hideaway dog bowls give the space a zen feel, which according to feng shui helps aide in digestion. To top off the design, Alison helps the homeowners bring a piece of themselves into the kitchen with a calendar made out of paint samples and custom Chinese wall art.

Two sisters who have been stuck in their family's hand-me-down kitchen are given a chance to make their mark on the space. Alison Victoria takes this mismatched kitchen down to the studs and starts fresh with bright yellow paint, vintage grey/blue cabinetry and white washed oak flooring. Alison revamps the layout by removing their awkwardly placed kitchen table and replacing it with an island ? complete with a light grey-flecked Silestone countertop ? perfect for prepping and homework. A small indoor porch is transformed into a light and bright dining area complete with a DIY table made from used cookbooks and a repurposed door. Keeping with the girls love for cooking and baking, Alison personalizes the cabinet hardware using tiny metal spoon, fork, rolling pin and knife themed hardware. To top off the retro-inspired look, a DIY clock mounted directly to the wall, made out of vintage hand mixers.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew find a young couple, both teachers, who are running out of space in their cramped, dated kitchen. The renovation starts with removing one interior wall to create a seating area and then knocking out an exterior wall to install new French doors. Once the space is expanded in almost every direction the renovation continues with new bamboo flooring, floor to ceiling oak cabinets, custom backsplash, stainless appliances, and a wine barrel dismantled for new bar stools. The awesome finished product literally looks like as completely different space and the homeowners are brought to tears of joy upon seeing the final reveal.
