Homeowners Andrew and Nancy bought a converted triplex in a great neighborhood. They soon discovered the problems the conversion caused with functionality. Andrew has worked in their home to improve the aesthetics of the home, but the lack of functionality remains. Designer Hilary and her team come in to transform their home into a space they can use. At the same time, realtor David shows the couple homes that meet their needs. After the renovations in their home, and seeing other listings, Andrew and Nancy must decide what to do with their home. Should they Love It? Or List It?
City Versus Suburbs
Colin and Kelly love their neighborhood but their charming old home has become a nightmare. They want their dream home and both designer Hilary and realtor David are ready to help. Hilary and her team will rework their home to fit their family. David will show them what they could have in a new home. And, when all is done, Colin and Kelly will have to decide which home is best for their family.
Near the Family Fixer-Upper
Steve and Jennifer bought a 90-year-old fixer-upper for its location near Steve's family. Half-done renovations and multi-purposed rooms have the couple frustrated with their home. Designer Hilary and realtor David are ready to help the couple with their home issues. Hilary and her team will transform the home to be their dream home. Meanwhile, David will show them what they could have in a new home. In the end, Steve and Jennifer will have to choose which house works best for what they need.
Design TV Wanna Be
Newlyweds Peter and Holly moved into a fixer-upper with big designer dreams. Holly thought she knew exactly what she wanted from all the design programs she watched on tv. Less than a year after moving in, they realized what a challenge it is to renovate a home. Designer Hilary and realtor David step in to help. Hilary and her team work to transform the home into what Peter and Holly always wanted. Meanwhile, David will show them houses that could fit them perfectly without renovations. After everything has been done, the couple must choose what's best for their home. Should they Love It? Or List It?
Downsizing Debate
Homeowners Michael and Jeff have lived in their century old house with two gardens for 12 years. They love the historic neighborhood, but the love for their home has fizzled. Michael is ready to move out and downsize, while Jeff is not quite sure he's ready to leave. Designer Hilary and her team hope to transform the home into a stylish and functional place for entertaining, while realtor David shows the couple houses near their current location. In the end, Michael and Jeff must decide what to do with their home. Should they Love It? Or List It?
Show Time Management
Love It or List It's Eddy and his wife Martine bought their home two years ago with plans to renovate. But Eddy struggles to manage his time between work on the show and work at home. Martine is ready to move out and give Eddy a break. Designer Hilary steps in to tidy up Eddy's unfinished renovations and struggles to keep him away. David shows the couple move-in ready houses. Retirement to House Hunting
Retired couple John and Cecile had begun looking for retirement homes when they had a family change and took in their great nephew Colin. The main floor of their house doesn't have enough room, and Colin is having to sleep in the basement. Designer Hilary and her team work to resolve the space problem. The couple has already looked at hundreds of homes, but are hoping realtor David will be able to find them the perfect house to keep this family sleeping on the same floor. And in the end, John and Cecile will have to decide what to do with their house. Should they Love It? Or List It?
A House Outgrown
Daniel and Crystal purchased their bungalow thinking it was big enough to fit the needs of their family. But with the family quickly growing from four to six and a baby due at any moment, they realize the house does not work for them anymore. They need more space. Designer Hilary and her team will renovate the house into a space to suit the family. Realtor David will show the family homes that meet all of the family's needs. When Rachel and Stephan were purchasing their first house, they had a baby on the way and had to rush their decision. The small old house no longer works for their family. Charles and Sherry serve as a host family to foreign students. While the students keep the couple young, they are taking a toll on the house. Designer Hilary and her team work to find solutions to better accomodate so many people. Realtor David shows the couple how much more they can have by moving just outside their neighborhood. Then, Charles and Sherry will have a decision to make. Should they Love It? Or List It?
Designer Disagreements
Desta, a designer on Love It or List It and Mark, a musician who also works with the show, have bought a fixer-upper. Their big design plans for the home have turned into a constant battle between them, and they need help from Designer Hilary and Realtor David. Hilary hopes to keep Desta away from the plans as she finishes renovating the home. David shows the young couple a hip location where he thinks they should be living. Now, Desta and Mark have a decision to make. Will they Love their fixer-upper? Or List It?
Battling Over Bedrooms
Jim and Connie's house no longer matches the needs of their family. Connie thinks they need another bedroom, but Jim believes they can share rooms and remain in their home. Now its up to designer Hilary and realtor David to find a solution to the couple's problem. Hilary and her team will work to expand the home as David shows the family other houses that could better suit their family. Then, Jim and Connie will have to choose. Could they Love thier home again? Or should they List It?
