Pixelface - Season 2
Season 2
Episodes
Bling My Droid
With the QM away, Aethelwynne discovers a stack of cheat codes for 'Swords of the Ancients', and soon finds that his game is a lot more fun when you have infinite lives and maximum magic. But there are some unexpected side effects to cheating, and soon a strange visitor turns up in the console with a terrible warning. Meanwhile, Romford spends all of Riley's credits on getting himself 'blinged out', much to his partner's annoyance.
Quit Bugging Me
Alexia and Claireparker are driving the rest of the team mad with their constant childish competitions to prove which one of them is the best.
Meanwhile, Romford and Riley unwittingly bring a terrifying bug into the console after a session of online play. They are instructed by the Quartermaster to fumigate the console, whilst the rest of the gang hide away in the training room. To make it more bearable, the training room will become a country meadow and they can have a camping holiday.
What with Aethelwynne's bad packing, Alexia and Claireparker's constant competing, and Rex's return to nature, it isn't a restful holiday by any means, and they are desperate to return to the console. But how long will it take Romford and Riley to get rid of the bug?
Out of Sight
A lightning storm in the real world has a disastrous effect on Claireparker, when everyone in the console seems to forget she even exists. It will take all her skill and ingenuity to make herself memorable before she disappears forever.
Fast and Furious
After entering the portal, Sgt Riley realises something is not quite right with the gang and that he has accidentally entered a parallel console. At first it seems far better than home, but after a while the novelty begins to wear off. Meanwhile, the gang and the newly powerful Kiki have to slow Rex down after he eats a super-speed pear in his game.
You're History
Alexia receives a gift from her Russian uncle: a red jigsaw block. But the block starts multiplying, and soon the console is overrun with coloured shapes falling out of the air. Can the gang discover how to get rid of them before they use up all of the console's memory?
Meanwhile, Kiki is miserable when she discovers that she is the only character in the console without a back story. The others attempt to cheer her up by writing one, but they cannot quite agree on how it should go...
Major Players
Riley is excited when Major Nomad, a no-nonsense character from a special mission, arrives to stay in the console. While everyone seems to love her, Riley is feeling very left out, and Alexia and Claireparker find her just a little too perfect.
The Ugly Truth
Alexia is desperate to look her best for the Ambassador's ball, and recruits the help of Aethelwynne and his beauty box to create the perfect look.
After accidentally ripping Alexia's dress, Sgt Riley heads off with Romford into Sentient Force armed with a needle and thread, where he struggles to make her a replacement dress using whatever materials he can find. Alexia learns a valuable lesson when she uses Aethelwynne's special face cream, which has a very undesired effect.
Meanwhile, a jump star arrives in the console for Mega Gino, and Claireparker, Kiki and Aethelwynne cannot help but open it and have a taste.
Strictly Romford
Romford has always been desperate for a body, so when Alexia suggests contacting a 'body parts' man, he is delighted. However, when it arrives, it is not exactly what he expected.
Kiki is entering the inter-console ballroom dancing competition but needs a partner. She decides to audition each of her friends to see who would be most suitable; now that Romford has a body, could this be his moment to shine?
Meanwhile, Sgt Riley is on his own in Sentient Force and comes across some strange alien enemies.
Come Fly with Me
Claireparker is facing an uphill struggle trying to organise and enforce the cleaning rota. Her plans are further disrupted when a dashing pilot from the Flightplan game enters the console.
Impressed by his sophisticated ways and tales of global jet-setting, the rest of the gang go out of their way to help him, and Rex dreams of becoming an airplane pilot. However, the pilot might not quite be the man he has led everyone to believe, and after Kiki decides to sneak on board his plane, the gang have to rely on Rex's flying skills to get her back. Could a cockpit full of fruit instruments bring Kiki back to the console before it is too late?
Mega Gino
Claireparker returns from Zombie City and is struggling to complete her next level.
Meanwhile, the famous gaming character Mega Gino visits the console and everyone is excited to meet him and take part in his well known Mini Games. However, Claireparker finds out that he is not as good at gaming as he makes out, and she soon finds herself having to try and outwit him.
The Dogs of War
Aethelwynne has a devilish goblin puzzle lock to solve, but cannot concentrate while the excitable puppies from an online dog show run riot in the console. Rex tries to make Alexia's dream of winning the contest a reality.
Rock Star
Legendary rock guitarist Kirk Beaglemayer arrives in the console from the game Rock Legend to the delight of Rex, his biggest fan. Needing a new singer for his band, Kirk decides to audition the group for a possible replacement. Who will win?
Aethelwynne tries desperately to shed his folk roots and become a rock god, whilst Riley is determined to learn a musical instrument. Kiki, Alexia and Claireparker form what they hope will be a chart-topping girlband, and Romford offers his services as their manager, although the lack of musical talent in the band forces him to take drastic measures. Rex is not keen to enter, however; could he be the best singer of them all?
Hal
A regular console upgrade gets interrupted and the console comes alive and decides that she wants to be a gaming character as well, with her own costume and special move. In order to have enough memory, she realises that she will need to delete various characters. The gang have to work together to try and find a way to overpower her and force her to reboot.
The episode also takes a look back at some great moments and visitors over the past series.
