Begoña and Jesús are happily in love when Andrés returns home with the 'De la Reina' family, revolutionizing the family situation.

After the collapse, Damián is in serious condition and tells his children what to do with the factory in the event that he is no longer here, a decision with which Jesús does not agree.

Luz saves Don Damián's life and he decides to hire her at the factory even though Jesús still doesn't see it clearly. Meanwhile, employees refuse to work until it is safe.

Begoña lies to Jesús about a call he receives and he shows a face unknown until then by his wife. Furthermore, the affinity between Begoña and Andrés grows.

Jesús reveals to his family that Begoña is pregnant and she is upset, she has not yet confirmed it. On the other hand, Andrés announces his engagement to María.

Jesus refuses to give Lazarus any money and blames Digna for the fact that his son Valentine ended the life of his wife and mother of his daughter.

Begoña discovers that she is not pregnant, she tells Andrés, but she does not know how to tell Jesús. Andrés receives a call from María, his girlfriend: in a few days he will be there. Luis tries to get closer to Joaquín. Ernesto gives Gema a wristwatch. Damián asks Tasio to be his driver to replace Isidro. Jesus decides that his best option is to turn himself in to the authorities. Jaime finds a medicine that may prolong Isidro's life.

Jesus puts his plan into action against Mercedes, causing her to get lost. Gema threatens Ernesto: if he talks to Joaquín, she will report him to the police. Luis misinterprets the situation when he sees that Luz and Jaime have spent the night together. Carmen is desperate at what Tasio is hiding, but he still won't confess the truth. Jaime talks to Fina to give him another chance with Marta.

Begoña confesses to Luz her plan to escape, but the side effects that the nurse feels from the drug make Luz believe that it is a drug that is not working.

Some members of the big house notice Begoña's strange behavior: Jesús' plan is working. By leaving Andrés out of the spa for good, the Merinos are one step closer to starting Gervasio's project. Digna tries to win Patricia over to play on her side. Alberto gets a clue about who abandoned the baby. Claudia tells Carmen that she will rise to the occasion despite her prejudices. The attraction between Joaquín and Miriam is evident before the meeting with Serra. Marta gives Claudia and Carmen important information regarding Fina's situation. Tasio apologizes to Carmen for her actions.

Fina makes up an excuse when Marta asks her about the marks Santiago made when he raped her. Julia witnesses a confrontation between Jesús and Andrés. When everything seems lost, the baby's mother appears, but... does she love him? Digna asks Andrés to think more about Julia from now on. The negotiation and the tension between Jesús and Patricia are finally resolved.

Maria makes Andrés believe that the previous night was "different" from how he remembers it. Jesús informs Damián of the agreement he has reached with Patricia. Begoña seems to loosen up with Andrés and he hides from her what happened the previous night with María. Fina is not able to tell Marta what Santiago did to her. Mateo perceives the good harmony between his father and Digna.

Victim of María's manipulation, Andrés cannot deny Begoña anything of what happened. Patricia does not give the expected response to Digna's proposal. Digna discovers that Fina has not revealed to Marta what happened to her in prison because De la Reina continues to blame herself for her arrest. Jesús proposes a new business to Don Pedro, while Don Damián begins to perceive Digna's relationship.

Jesús tries to build bridges between Begoña and Julia. Marta sees the marks on Fina's body and urges her to report him. María delves into the lie of the night she spent with Andrés in order to hurt Begoña. Digna suspects that Jesús and Don Pedro are up to something and wants to find out what it is. Mateo, encouraged by Tasio, reveals to Claudia and Don Pedro his doubts about pursuing the dream.

Carmen and Marta visit Fina to give her support, although she is still closed. Julia begins to get sick after her visit to the Prado Museum. The apparent truce between Begoña and Jesús makes Damián happy. Luz explains to Miriam that her discomfort is due to the fact that she is somatizing. Claudia has a plan to ensure that Mateo can fulfill his dream. Despite what happened the other night, Andrés rejects María.

As a result of Andrés' rejection, María makes Begoña suffer. Carmen finds something to help Claudia and Mateo set up their bookstore. Damián, a victim of jealousy, confronts Digna about what he saw with Don Pedro. Claudia encourages Mateo to give his father a chance. Luz advises Miriam to stay away from anything that hurts her. Damián reveals an important secret about Digna to Joaquín and Luis.

Luis and Joaquín confront Digna about what Damián told them. María makes an important confession to Gema. Don Pedro, without suspecting anything about the accident, tells Digna about his advances with Mateo. They also talk about their relationship. Tasio gives Marta the number of the thug he was looking for to execute Santiago. Julia is still sick and they suspect she may have whooping cough. Patricia, vengeful, reveals to Digna that she is the victim of a crime.

Damián and Luz inform Don Pedro of the tragic accident and its terrible consequences. Luz confirms Julia's diagnosis of whooping cough and tries to reassure Begoña. Upon her return from the hospital, and given the circumstances, Carmen will be in charge of watching over and caring for Claudia so that she does not hurt herself. Andrés' guilt over Claudia and Mateo's accident increases when he finds out what has happened to her.

Damián confesses to Carmen his concern about how Claudia and Mateo's accident has affected Tasio. Marta confesses to Damián what happened in prison and her desire to get revenge in some way. Don Pedro asks Jesús for explanations about the accident, but De la Reina tells him that Andrés is responsible. Julia's serious situation makes Digna and Begoña fear for the girl's life.

Julia's condition seems to improve... hope calms everyone's worries. Digna tries to console a heartbroken Inés after Mateo's funeral mass. Carmen and Fina have a plan for Claudia to get better. Pedro can no longer hide his pain and breaks down in front of Digna. Begoña shows her support to Andrés for the guilt he feels after Mateo's death and the loss of the baby.

Jesús, who sees Begoña and Andrés alone in the kitchen, vents his jealousy by blaming Andrés for Mateo's death. Claudia wants to convince Tasio to forgive Andrés. Damián tells Marta what he has achieved with Santiago. Joaquín, more involved than ever in his relationship with Gema. María defends Andrés before Damián, who remains stern about his son's mistake.

Jesus, moved by the emotion of Julia's recovery, tries to get closer to Begoña. The girls and Tasio begin their little adventure to see the sea. Inés, oblivious to Digna and Don Pedro's kiss, tells Digna how important Pedro is to her in these difficult times. Andrés does not trust María's intentions after defending him to Damián.

Julia tells Jesus that she told Begoña that she wanted a brother. Damian deduces that Marta has already taken action to get revenge on Santiago. Claudia, Fina and Carmen, more united than ever, reinforce their friendship pact. Andrés, driven by guilt, is ready to resign but Marta tries to dissuade him. Maria realizes that Jesus is using Julia again. Joaquin, looking for a way to get revenge on Santiago, is forced to leave the country.
